The plot begins with an attack by mutants near the checkpoint on Cordon, as a result of which all the soldiers who were there at that time die. We play as one of two stalkers who decided to go to the Zone for secret documents. By coincidence, they are at the same checkpoint that was attacked.
Modification to the "Stalker" adds not only new locations, but also additional quests. In each territory, unprecedented species of monsters live, there are a number of unique anomalies. Changes also affected weapons - in addition to adding new items, the textures of old ones were also improved. Some weapons cannot be purchased at local retail stores, and the only way to get them is to collect from dead enemies.
The interface and the image that appears during the loading screen have been changed, new types of textures for grass and sounds accompanying the shots have been added. All this helps to make the game even more realistic and atmospheric.
"Mercenary Ghost. Part 2"
This story began with a modification to Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, and continued for the next game. For those who are not familiar with the plot, we tell: the narration is conducted on behalf of the Ghost, who turned out to be infected with a rare ailment and went to look for a cure in the Exclusion Zone. We learn that the stalker never managed to be healed, so he returned to being a mercenary again. It turns out that because of the virus, the Phantom’s body has undergone an irreversible change, and now it has the ability to contact the intelligent creatures of the Zone. It is this skill that we will have to use during the passage of the next mission aimed at putting an end to Major Degtyarev.

SZM COP v0.2
Another modification to the "Stalker", telling a new storyline. We learn about the disappearance of an operative Degtyarev, who was accompanied by an experienced mercenary - Strelok. All attempts to get in touch with them failed. Also, according to one of the received tips, information is received about the active actions of the armed gangs.
If they managed to capture the operative, then nothing can stop them from learning important secret information. What can we say that both missing can face mortal danger that threatens them. The search operation is entrusted to an officer and a professional soldier - special forces with the codename Shershen. However, only we can find out what he will have to face in reality.
Especially for this modification, additional models and heroes were created, unique videos were directed, and new missions were thought out. A plus is the addition of three new locations, on which all the actions take place.
SWMod: CoP v0.7 ("Second Way")
This modification is not a plot addition, but only improves the performance of the original game "Call of Pripyat." However, she also deserves our attention. Thanks to The Second Way, the potential of those characters and storylines that have received little attention in the original is revealed.
