The importance of animals in nature and the role of plants. Animals in human life

The fascinating world of nature includes everything from sources of water, soil and ending with such living organisms as plants and animals. Man himself is part of this natural habitat, to which, however, he not only managed to adapt, but which he largely changed to fit his needs.

Natural world

Earth is a planet that is already about 4.6 billion years old and which has been formed, according to popular opinion, thanks to the Big Bang. It is now known that certain forms of life can exist on other planets, but only the Earth can boast of the presence of life on it and such a wealth of flora and fauna.

Nature, plants, animals
Great is the significance that nature, plants, animals in particular have. Their role in the global ecosystem will be discussed further. It is difficult to imagine how many physical, biochemical, geological and other processes have taken place during the existence of our planet. Changes in the earth's surface, climatic changes created the conditions under which wildlife could appear: animals, from protozoa to mammals, vegetation, from a blade of grass to exquisite flowers, mushrooms, various microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria.

The role of the plant community in the universal system of life

Living organisms have a specific gravity in any natural complex. They support the universal circulation of matter and energy, which is necessary for the existence of life. The direct participants in this process are plants. Green spaces determine not only the appearance of a particular area and perform an aesthetic function. Their significance lies in the absorption of carbon dioxide and the production of oxygen, without which the existence of animals and humans is impossible. Thanks to photosynthesis, plants are able to produce new organic substances.

In addition, they form soils, the amount of water on the earth's surface and also the creation of various types of climate depend on them. Another big role that plants play in human life and most animals is that they serve as food. Herbivores eat greenery, and thanks to gardens and orchards, people produce cereals and legumes, vegetables and fruits, tea, etc.

The value of animals in nature

Not only plants, but also animals provide balance in the entire biosphere and affect its dynamic aspect. Animals inhabit all geographical zones and are found in various natural environments: earth and air, land, water. Depending on living conditions, their appearance, morphology, level of development are different. But each of the representatives of the animal world is important in its own way. The importance of animals in nature is determined by those specific functions that are associated with the natural instincts of these living creatures.

The value of animals in nature
So, invertebrate animals (insects, worms, ticks, etc.) are able to form soil. Their positive effect on the properties of the soil cover is manifested in the mixing of fine earth, processing of residues from plants, etc. Thus, the nutrient medium creates conditions for other microorganisms, plants. For plants, there is also another meaning of animals: in nature, it is that animals (bees, birds, etc.) participate in the pollination of flowers and the spread of seeds of grasses and trees. And most importantly: the number of plants is regulated by herbivores, and carnivores, in turn, carry out the natural selection of the latter.

Animals in human life

For whom else are animals vital? As you know, the importance of animals in nature is generally undeniable, but even a person cannot live without them. Firstly, they have always been one of the constant sources of nutrition. They satisfy the need of the human body for high-calorie proteins, which are involved in many processes of growth and development, as well as in energy production. For food, a person uses the meat of both birds and mammals, and invertebrates, most often crustaceans and mollusks. You can get milk from cattle, which is used in the production of many other products.

Secondly, people also use animals to make warm clothes from leather and fur. Of particular value are species such as arctic fox, sable, nutria, fox, etc. Moreover, now, during the ongoing development of science and technology, the wool of animals can be inferior at times in quality to things made of faux fur. The third important point: people use many large animals as assistants in their households. For example, donkeys, bulls, horses, camels, elephants can be tamed for complex work: plowing a field, lifting and carrying a heavy load, transporting people, and more.

Friendship between people and animals

It is impossible not to say a few words that animals play an important role in human life, not only in terms of nutrition, clothing made of fur and labor. We are talking about a completely different interaction - interaction on an equal footing, as with our smaller brothers. So many touching stories exist about the friendship of man and animals. They give each other affection and care. Such friendship is beyond description, no words are needed - just look at how they behave in relation to each other. Some kind of special non-verbal connection between them. Everyone knows the loyalty of dogs, which seem to love people unconditionally and endlessly. A four-legged friend will keep company in a jogging in the morning, and will warm him up on a winter evening, and will meet at the doorstep. Animals brighten our loneliness.

Some conclusions

Wildlife, animals
Based on the provided data, nature, wildlife, plants are simply irreplaceable for us. Often we neglect them for our own pleasure and comfort - large-scale deforestation and the construction of houses, factories and cars that pollute the atmosphere, a huge amount of garbage on the streets and in forest park areas ... Nevertheless, the care and protection of nature should be on the first place for us plan, otherwise we risk destroying ourselves and the whole planet.
