The principle of the camera resembles the eye of a living creature. In fact, we see objects of the environment as they are, thanks to the reflected light entering the retina. Exposure - this is the amount of light received
by the camera matrix. An overexposed image will look too light, an underexposed image will look dark. Just as a person’s eye can adapt to a decrease or increase in illumination, the camera can be adjusted to certain environmental conditions. In order for the photo to turn out to be normal, all details were clearly visible on it, the camera must be adjusted accordingly - to reduce or increase the lens aperture or shutter speed.
So, in fact, the correct exposure is, first of all, the ability to adjust the camera so that the photo is harmonious with respect to the combination of shadows and light. For example, if you decide to increase the lens aperture in the dark to obtain a sharper image, you will most likely have to reduce the shutter speed, i.e. the shutter release time.
There is such a thing as double exposure. At the same time, two images are superimposed on the photo in certain angles. This method is most often used in art photography to create original pictures. The double-exposure image looks like a street through a window whose glass reflects furnishings. This is a very interesting method, often used by professional photographers.
Modern digital technology can greatly facilitate the work of the master. Since the exposure is nothing more than the degree of presence of shadows and lights in the photo, it is very easy to fix images that are not very high in terms of exposure in the RAV image after shooting. Cameras are available in which there is a feature that allows you to do this quite easily. In addition, the same result can be achieved using various computer programs, the most popular of which is Photoshop.
Exposure in photography is very important. The artistic value of the image depends not only on the correct plot, but on the clarity of the photo and the visibility of all its details. Therefore, any photographer must be able to properly configure the camera and work with the final image on the computer. Modern cameras, even digital ones, provide all the features to take beautiful, clear photos.
