The amazing plant mockworm has about 50 different species, and jasmine flowers are associated with gardeners with a bright aroma and unique taste of tea. Almost all varieties of this plant have oppositely arranged foliage from light green to bright green in color and white buds of various shades: from ivory to cream.
To grow such a shrub is quite simple, since there are species that grow on absolutely any soil. However, so that the jasmine flowers are as large as possible and do not fade for a very long time, it is worth taking care of nutritious soil and regular watering. If the groundwater in the area lies close to the surface, it is necessary to provide the landing pit with good expanded clay drainage.

Chubushnik does not like transplants, therefore it is worthwhile to approach the choice of a place thoroughly so as not to ruin an adult plant later. The best time for rooting young shrubs is considered spring or early autumn. At the beginning of the year, they wait until the last snow leaves the soil, but the buds on the trees will still be closed. And in the autumn period, planting is carried out before the onset of the first frosts, in late October - early November.
Future jasmine flowers are placed singly or in small groups of 3-5 bushes. It is worth considering that in cramped conditions this plant has much less fragrant inflorescences. For large species of mock orange, the distance between the bushes should be at least 1.5-2.2 m, and dwarf varieties can be content with 0.8-1 meter. The depth of the planting pit should not exceed 40 cm, but in the case of poor soil they take out another 20-30 cm of soil and put fertile soil in its place, fertilized with conventional mineral fertilizing.
During planting, the roots of the plants are immersed in an earthen mash, and after strengthening the shoot, all branches are cut at a height of 2-3 buds. Jasmine flowers will please the eye longer if you do not forget to water the mock up during the main vegetation. It can be fertilized with slurry, diluted 6 times, or with special granules that are applied to wet soil and lightly sprinkled with earth before the next watering.
Chubushnik does not like a large number of weeds, the most dangerous "neighbors" are wheat grass and an ordinary dandelion. Also, the plant will not give abundant flowering without regular loosening of the soil, and to combat meadow bugs, it is worth using an infusion of bitter pepper, hot garlic or field mustard. There are also indoor jasmine flowers. Photos of experienced gardeners confirm that it is easy enough to grow such a shrub in a large tub on a bright terrace or balcony. For winter, a street mocker is tied so that adhering snow does not break the plant, and it is not too cold in severe frosts.
Beautiful flowers of edible jasmine varieties are collected and dried at the time of maximum flowering. Harvesting is carried out early in the morning before dew, at which time the buds have the least excess moisture. Observing this rule, the flowers will be easy enough to dry, and therefore provide your family with delicious tea or outlandish jam. Chubushnik is not recommended to be planted near the windows of a bedroom or a nursery, since a sharp aroma can cause headaches and even allergy attacks.
