Temple
In the park there is an active temple - Trinity Cathedral. The church was first built in that place in the 16th century. It is known for certain that False Dmitry II was buried in it. But this building has not survived to the present day. The modern temple was founded in 1786, the author of the project was the architect I. Yasnygin The consecration of the chapel was carried out in 1819.
A distinctive feature of the structure is a 20-meter dome, which was erected without internal supports. A 70-meter bell tower rises above the temple. Initially, it was separate from the church, but in 1912 both buildings were combined into a single ensemble.
A sign hanging on the walls of the church announcing that on May 14, 1895, the liturgy was held here by John of Kronstadt, the famous miracle worker of the Russian land.

And the square itself was named in honor of Grand Duke Vladimir Mikhailovich Romanov, who visited these parts. After the revolution, it was decided to leave and expand the park. But rename it.
