One of the best resources of the Terraria game, chlorophyte, is not so easy to obtain. This material is necessary to create mushroom ingots. And from them they make the best armor, weapons and bullets in the Terraria game. Chlorophyte can be found in several ways, and in this guide we will talk about them all.
Where to look for a resource
You can find this ore only in one place of the Terraria game. Chlorophyte is located in the hardmodic underground jungle at the level of the stone layer of the dungeons. And this is about 500 feet. In order to mine ore, you will need special tools, because an ordinary pickaxe does not destroy this block. How to get chlorophyte in Terraria? A tool with a pickaxe strength of at least 200% is suitable, and these are Buropil, Kirkopor, Holy, Spectral or Chlorophytic picks, mushroom claws.
Quick way
Chlorophyte blocks begin to appear only after the game switches to hard mode. Campaigns for this resource are tiring, because sometimes you have to search the entire dungeon and destroy many blocks in order to gain enough of this resource. There is one quick, but slightly expensive way to get chlorophyte. In order to use it, wait about 20 game days after the first generation of ore and only then go to the underground jungle. Next, make a vertical tunnel to the stone level, and then throw dynamite under your feet, which you can buy from the Demoman, every two seconds. Do not forget to quickly leave this zone, because the substance has a decent radius of damage. Thus, dynamite will destroy all blocks except those that contain this valuable ore.
Chlorophyte Farm in Terraria
If you do not want to search the dungeons every time in search of this ore, then build a special farm. As you know, this material has the ability to turn neighboring blocks of dirt into chlorophytic ore. This feature will become the basis for your economy. When building, it should be borne in mind that the element ceases to convert dirt if there are 26 similar blocks within a radius of 60 feet from it.
In order to create a chlorophyte farm, go down to the stone level of the dungeon and clear the area. Now create several blocks of dirt with dimensions of 5 * 5 and place a piece of chlorophyte in the center of each of them. Between each "garden" keep a distance of 30 blocks, otherwise the ore will not be converted. Keep in mind that chlorophyte grows quite a long time, so do not panic too much. In such a simple way, you will permanently get rid of the lack of this resource in the game "Terraria".
Chlorophyte: tips
- Always leave at least one piece of ore, because over time it will turn dirt into new deposits, and so on to infinity.
- To detect chlorophyte deposits, go to full-screen game mode. This will greatly facilitate the search.
- Very often, ore does not update their sprite when turning dirt. To fix the error, restart the server and the world.
- In a mobile application, the mechanics of chlorophyte distribution differs significantly from the PC version. Ore appears randomly in a stone jungle after killing a hardmod boss. Therefore, the search for chlorophyte after the destruction of a mechanical adversary will be very difficult.
- Ore can appear on its own anywhere in the jungle, even artificial ones, and this greatly simplifies the search.
