Vampire's teeth: a terribly interesting idea for night horror stories!

Of course, if you look carefully, you can find many holidays where it is customary to scare people around you. But the most famous, of course, is Halloween.

Officially, it is not celebrated in Russia, but this does not mean that one cannot surprise others with its unusual appearance. This will help you vampire teeth, which we will make in the origami technique of plain paper.

Vamp ... who?

Vampires and other mystical creatures never avoided similar holidays, and now there are many myths and legends around them. As they were just not called in history: vampires, and ghouls, and ghouls, although the meaning did not change much from this.

Surprisingly, people centuries ago really believed and were even afraid of these unknown creatures that no one had definitely seen. There were legends, stories and myths, panic fear, but there was never exact evidence of their existence.

But basically, these are fictional creatures with memorable white skin, a lack of reflection in the mirror and the outstanding fangs that vampires received in the cinema.

It was they who interested us, since the ability to make a vampire’s teeth in a few minutes using ordinary office paper really seems attractive.

Origami: Vampire Teeth

So it's time to start our "terrible" origami. It is done very quickly, as it is designed for beginners.

do-it-yourself vampire teeth

  • Take a small piece of paper resembling a rectangle. Its width at the moment will be the distance between the two fangs. Fold the workpiece in half lengthwise to form a fold and smooth the surface back.
  • At one end, we fold the corners twice, and then we move the common bent part to the center. So we formed the top of our craft.
  • Now turn the paper over, lowering the lower clean edge.
  • Below we also bend the corners, but once, forming the vampire's teeth. The remaining gap between them, which turned into a corner, is also bent up.
  • We flatten the preformed teeth with our fingers, highlighting them forward with a sharp edge from compression.
  • It's time to use the central fold, with which we squeeze a little and fold the origami, pinching the sides with your fingers. With each deeper press, an illusion will appear that the jaw is moving.

Additional Attributes

Of course, in this form, the teeth of a vampire do not look very realistic and resemble only some likeness of them. But do not be upset, because everything is easy to fix with ordinary pencils, watercolors or gouache.

You just need to take the dark paint and completely paint over the inner space of the origami. Thus, it will gain depth in color, which means it will become more realistic. In addition, if desired, you can additionally draw the tongue, and after painting it with bright red paint, stick it inside the structure.

For extra whiteness, you can add a couple of highlights to the fangs, draw shadows. The outer part of the toy can also be painted over with dark paint, or initially take paper with one black and the other with the bright side.

Total

So, in almost five minutes we created the vampire’s teeth with our own hands. It is possible, of course, that this thing will seem like a waste of time and paper to some, but for Halloween it is a valuable item.

Thanks to the movable structure, the vampire’s teeth gain movement, become real, as if they were about to get and bite you.

Using origami technology is not the only way out. You can make famous fangs from anything: from plastic forks cut in the middle, from cotton swabs, cocktail tubes. What people did not come up with to be like the main character of the film "Dracula"!
