The main character was Wayne Holden. He and his father and a group of servicemen are sent to kill the huge Acrid. Wayne at the time of the operation separates from the group and notices how his father’s costume explodes. The hero is thrown in the snow. 30 years of suspended animation begin.
A hero wakes up with almost complete amnesia. From this moment, events begin with rather unexpected plot twists.
Passage Lost Planet is not the most difficult, if we talk about the gameplay. Gamers need to control the main character. He can switch from first to third person. You can explore the area on foot or use mechanized suits. It also has heavy weapons, with which you can fight with enemy creatures.
Hard to reach places can be reached with a hook. In order to use the armament of the armored suit, thermal energy is needed. Due to the fact that the planet is very cold, maintaining it becomes incredibly difficult. You can replenish energy by killing enemies or passing certain points.
Passage of the first part
What you need to know about passing the Lost Planet? There is a plot, it is not bad, but so that no one would notice any errors, they decide to submit it in a dosed manner. Therefore, the main character loses his memory, and after suspended animation he remembers his name and desire to avenge the death of his father.
To pass, you need to accumulate thermal energy. This substance is found in Acrid, so you need to get it in battle with them. The larger the enemy, the more the hero will receive a boost of energy.
It is spent with and without: during the use of the armored suit, activation of abilities, damage and regeneration, weapons and so on. During the passage, you can use various weapons. There are fairly simple specimens among them, but you can find very powerful cannons, for example, ion cannons.
You can use and ownerless machines. They are located at specific points throughout the game map. It is clear that at first you will meet the simplest models, but over time their number will increase. After that you will search only the most armored, fast and dodgy.
During the passage of Lost Planet 1, a variety of opponents meet, but almost all of them are inhabitants of the planet. At first it will not be easy to defeat them, because you will not understand their weaknesses. But then you begin to notice a vulnerable belly, tail and other parts of the body.
Each mission leads to a boss. At first, these will be slightly improved versions of opponents already defeated to you. But over time, they will become more complex and stronger. It will be necessary to look for each approach.
If you are a very lazy gamer, in fact, you can run across or run around enemies, since the essence of the mission is not to defeat the enemy, but to pass from one point to another.
The graphics of the first part
Despite the fact that the first part appeared in 2006, it is interesting to pass it, if only because the eye pleases the schedule. The developers worked on high-quality animation of both the hero and his opponents. By the way, the latter look especially epic and intimidating.
Of course, there are some problems with physics, for example, there is no thickness of snow under the hero’s feet. It seems that he moves on a snow-white floor. But if the developers realized snowdrifts, then most likely the movements of the characters would be too constrained.
Addition
In 2008, the addition of Lost Planet: Colonies appeared. Passing it was no different from passing the first part. Many players believe that it significantly enriched the game. And, perhaps, such a statement can be considered true.
Gamers were able to choose the side of the battle and speak for the Acrid. Also, several new modes have become available alone. But most of all the changes affected the multiplayer. Therefore, the company of friends really had something to do. We increased the number of modes, and also added new goals to achieve.
Second part
The sequel became available for the passage in 2010. This game has become more demanding of user systems. To play on minimal graphics, you could buy an Intel Core 2 Duo processor or more powerful models. It was necessary from 2 GB of RAM and 13 GB on the drive. For tolerable graphics, you could use the GeForce 7800 graphics card and more powerful.
To assess the quality of the graphics and the work of developers at maximum settings, it was necessary to use a system with a quad-core processor and, if possible, RAM from 3 GB. A GeForce 9800 series or higher was needed.
The history of the second part
Passage in Russian Lost Planet 2 begins 12 years after the events that took place on a planet already familiar to gamers. The snow had melted, and now there were deserts instead, and in places where it was cooler, an impenetrable jungle appeared.
The player will again face Acrid. You constantly have to jump from one storyline to another. Fights take place periodically on land, under water and even in space.
The funniest thing in history is the game for different characters. Therefore, to speak a lot about the plot in this case is not necessary. This time, the player does not have a definite story, with personal experiences and goals. The developers decided that since they are releasing a shooter, the main thing in this matter is to entertain the users, and with what story and meaning it does not matter at all.
The passage of the second part
Many features and indeed the gameplay were taken from the first part. There are quite a lot of familiar things. And in general, the second part against the background of the first seems somehow plain and more like an addition than a new independent part.
Nevertheless, the player will again have to fight with the bosses, explore extreme areas, use armored suits and weapons. The main change was that the player now does not constantly lose thermal energy. It is clear that this is due to the completely opposite climate.
During the passage of Lost Planet 2, the hero will spend energy only through the use of weapons and armored suits. It is also worth remembering permanently included abilities that also spend a charge.
Not particularly changed and multiplayer mode. Passage here is practically no different from the previous part. The only difference is in the new modes. Many players liked the introduction of advanced character settings.
In general, it makes no sense to describe a step-by-step walkthrough, since it does not exist as such here. The player moves from location to location, fights with characters and moves to a new point.
Still, there is a lot of focus on the multiplayer mode. Of course, someone will definitely go through a single player campaign, but shooters of this type are more designed to play on the network in the company of friends.
The third part
For some unknown reason, the developers decided it was better to make the third part a prequel. Therefore, the events of this series are more similar to those mentioned in the first.
In order to begin the passage of Lost Planet 3, you must use the system on Intel Dual-Core Dual, with a video card GeForce 9800 and higher, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of free disk space. In this case, you can run the game at the minimum settings.

But only at first glance does everything look so friendly. In fact, Jim will have to spend a lot of energy to get to the truth.

It is regrettable, but this time there is nothing worth waiting for passing Lost Planet 3. This is still a shooter, but now with RPG elements. Now there are primary and secondary tasks. The player can improve his equipment: apat suit, weapon or car. But for this he will need to find the necessary resources and tools.
But during the passage, you still have to fight with the Acrid. True, there are no ion cannons yet, so the gamer gets a knife at his disposal. But the benefit of this is not limited to our weapons. A pistol with endless ammunition, a shotgun and an assault rifle will be available.
The passage of the game Lost Planet 3 will change because there are no armored suits that previously required energy. But thermal energy is still being extracted, which means that developers had to find application for it. In the third part, it has become the monetary unit for which you can buy the missing items.
