The Holy Trinity-Seraphim-Diveevo Convent is located near the city of Arzamas. The long road does not scare the pilgrims, since the time spent in the monastery walls can not be compared with anything, as if the person visited another country or visited a different life. You will not hear a rude word or a loud shout, you will not be offended, even if something is done not according to the rules.
The feeling that a person experiences while in the monastery is grace. Before God, everyone is equal - a truth that you understand when you are there. It doesn’t matter how you are dressed, what kind of office you are, whether you are poor or rich - a person is valuable in the inner world, proximity to God. Every day from 2 to 5 thousand pilgrims visit the monastery. People travel to Diveevo from around the world, including from . Many come several times a year.
The monastery was founded in 1760 by mother Alexandra. Before her death, she transferred the sisters to the spiritual care of Seraphim of Sarov. Several times the Virgin appeared to him and through the priest Seraphim directed the construction of the monastery, "not a single brick was laid without her blessing."
The Virgin ordered to build a groove, which would be a defense against the Antichrist. The groove lies between the purity of faith and the filth of this world - amazing and mysterious from all borders. The groove of the Blessed Virgin Mary should be 3 arshins (2.15 meters) deep, 3 arshins wide and with a shaft 3 arshins high.
The sisters dug the Groove for four years and believed that every day the Mother of God descends from heaven and passes through this Groove. Father Seraphim blessed to take a fellow countryman from the Groove for healing.
In 1927, the monastery was closed, and in 1930, the Groove was also covered, and it was polluted with sewage. A shooting gallery was set up in the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and since the temple was painted, instead of targets, they shot at the holy faces.
In 1991, when the relics of Seraphim of Sarov were brought from St. Petersburg , the monastery reopened. The monastery began to be restored and rebuilt. The holy springs, which have miraculous and healing powers, were cleaned and arranged , and they began to restore the Groove of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The monastery began to receive money and donations. Today people come to bow to the relics, since the Monk Seraphim commanded: “... no matter what happens to you, come all to my grave, crouching to the ground as if alive, and tell me. And I will hear you, and your sorrow will pass! “Talk to me alive and I will always be alive for you!”
The prophecies of Father Seraphim begin to come true. “It’s not a miracle that they will raise my bones, but it’s a miracle that I will be resurrected and come to Diveevo on foot and preach.” According to the prophecy, Seraphim of Sarov should resurrect for 3 days and conduct a universal preaching of repentance, people from all over the world will come to it.
The end of the world will come when four relics will lay in the church of the Most Holy Theotokos near four pillars, and the Monk himself will be the fifth. On December 22, 2000, the holy relics of the Monks Alexandra, Martha, and Elena Diveevsky were glorified. There are still no fourth relics and, therefore, there is still time for repentance.
Many secrets have not been revealed and are waiting for their time, but some have already found scientific confirmation. For example, a few kilometers from Diveevo is Arzamas-16 - a closed city, a center for the development and storage of radioactive elements. But there is no radiation there, there are no patients with cancer, even fungi are not radioactive - holiness returns virginity to nature. Not so long ago, pictures were taken that the Americans took from space, and there is clearly visible the ring of fire around Diveevo, as the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
People come to worship relics, pray miraculous icons, bathe in holy springs, and walk along the Canal. Happy is he who at least stays a little in Diveevo, since every day the Queen of Heaven makes a round of her monastery, and everyone can follow the traces of the Most Holy Virgin.
