The creation of these man-made paintings in various techniques is a very complex and painstaking task. But embroidery on the pillow is available to anyone who wants to do creativity with a thread and a needle and at the same time decorate the interior of the room with something original.

Embroidery on a pillow is one of the most common ways to create comfort in a house for a long time. After all, all manual work had its own sacred meaning - such things served as amulets, protecting home from evil spirits. And crosses are different
The pattern of embroidery of the pillow that will decorate the house can be very different, as well as the patterns with which it is decorated.
It is most convenient to embroider with the simplest cross - a stitch on the diagonal of the square, from left to right, and then on the other diagonal - from right to left. With such crosses, it is most convenient to embroider tracks and sections of one color, changing the thread when moving to another section.
That is, first diagonal stitches are sewn in one direction on all the squares of the same shade, then these same squares are quilted along the second diagonals in the opposite direction. Such a cross is the most primitive.
But there are also quite complicated methods - elongated crosses, when the stitch goes into two conditional squares. Or half-elongated crosses - one side stitch for two squares, and the other - only one.
The so-called double or Bulgarian cross is even more complicated - the stitches are first sewn on two diagonals, and then on the centers of the sides of the cell - from bottom to top and from left to right. How to use fabric properly? You can choose a section that is large enough to fit several medium-sized embroideries, make them all, and then use them in different pillows. Cross-stitching does not imply a description of the work in rows - the work uses diagrams of a picture laid out in colored squares. The needlewoman independently calculates the number of cells of one color or another, changing the thread in the needle at a color change or embroidering large sections with one color, sequentially counting row after row.
