They appeared on our markets only thanks to the excellent work of American breeders. To do this, they crossed the Jonathan and Wagner apples. Today in Russia it is not difficult to find these fruits. Idared is an apple variety that is especially popular among Russians. And this is not surprising. The fruits are very tasty and juicy, differ in that they can be easily and very long stored.
In Russia, the largest agricultural land on which these apple trees are grown is located on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory.
Appearance
This plant is considered overgrown and has a spherical crown. There is a curious fact about this apple tree - the distance between all its fruits is almost the same. It is this feature that makes it easy and quick to remove apples from the tree when the time comes for harvesting. In addition, these apple fruits grow in clusters. It also increases the speed of harvesting. After all, they collect them several at a time.

Polyphenolic compounds block their root cause; therefore, apples are used for preventive purposes. Be sure to eat them with a peel, since it is there that most of the nutrients are located.

Ripening and harvesting
Mostly ripened fruits are harvested in September. Idared is an apple variety that is not recommended to be picked earlier, in the middle or end of summer.
