A military ID is a document that no soldier can do without. Unfortunately, unpleasant cases of loss, theft or damage to the “warrior” can occur with everyone. It’s not necessary to panic and get depressed, because not much free time and effort will be required to restore a document. How to restore a military ID?
- From the moment you lose, you have the right to contact the law enforcement authorities. It is recommended to take an appropriate certificate there, which will indicate the time of treatment and measures taken by employees of the bodies.
- It is imperative that you contact your local military registration and enlistment office with a statement of loss, where you should indicate the place, time and circumstances in which the military ID was lost (theft, chance, etc.).
- The military enlistment office is provided with a passport, data on the place of registration and photographs of standard size (three by four centimeters). It is important that the pictures are without corners, and also not glossy, i.e. matte. - The circumstances in which you have lost your military card determine the timing of its return and the sanctions applied to you. Most often, a citizen is issued a warning and is required to pay a fine in the amount of five hundred to one thousand rubles. In addition, the delay plays a role, after which you contacted the appropriate institution. The sooner you find the loss and filed an application, the sooner your document will be restored.
- After some time, on the basis of the accepted application, photographs and an identity document, you will be issued a new military ID.
Exceptions to the Rules
If you still have not crossed the threshold of
draft age, then an application to the military enlistment office must be submitted immediately after loss. Otherwise, the question of how to restore a military ID will become quite problematic.
For persons not subject to military service, it is necessary to confirm their exceptional circumstances with a medical certificate with a specific indication of the diagnosis.
