An excellent modern tool for leveling ceilings and internal, external walls of rooms are dry stucco mixtures with an admixture of gypsum components. Today, Volma plaster is especially popular with builders. It is designed for manual work and is a powder with astringent properties and gypsum filler. Additionally, mineral and chemical ingredients are added to the mixture, which provide temporary retention of moisture in the mixture during the work of the master and a high degree of strength and adhesion. Only in such conditions will plaster give a smooth and even surface.

It can be applied on a brick, concrete, plasterboard, aerated concrete base, as well as on gypsum blocks, particleboard, MDF, wood and

  • drying period - one week;
  • setting time - maximum 3 hours;
  • the extreme limit of the applied layer is 60 mm (superimposed in two passes);
  • recommended layer height - 30 mm;
  • water consumption - 0.65 liters per 1 kg of dry mix;
  • mixture costs per 1m 2 - 1 kg.

Surface preparation before applying plaster

Before starting plastering, the plane must be thoroughly cleaned of oil stains, dirt, deposits, dust. Then dry. If there are potholes, they must be repaired, exfoliated places must be strengthened, irregularities, salt deposits and fungi must be removed. Protruding metal elements are treated with an anti-corrosion mixture. The result should be a rough and even surface. Then it is covered with a primer. After its complete drying, you can start plastering.
