Increasingly, when building country houses, builders begin to use collector heating schemes. This is due to the fact that any heating system of a modern house is quite complex and branched. The length of the same pipes for transferring the coolant may well reach more than one hundred meters. Of course, under such conditions, effective heating becomes especially relevant.
Varieties and functions
In ordinary living rooms, a temperature comfortable for life is maintained, and therefore the task of the collector for heating is to regulate the amount of coolant in the system and ensure its normal circulation in it. They are made of quality steel, brass and plastic.
Provided that the system is correctly installed, additional devices can be easily connected to it, which automatically makes it much more functional (in comparison with traditional devices). It should be noted that when buying a collector for heating, you must know at least the general functions specific to all models:
- uniform distribution of coolant in the system;
- control of its quantity and working temperature;
- regulation of pressure in the system and prevention of its failure;
- maintaining the set temperature in all heated rooms;

Underfloor heating systems
The peculiarity of such a system is that it must be equipped with additional shut-off valves. Considering that each collector for heating has its own branch, this scheme gives many advantages. In particular, if a leak is detected, the damaged circuit can easily be disconnected from the rest of the system. All others will work as usual.
It is the regulators that are responsible for the uniform distribution of water along the circuit, ensuring uniform floor heating throughout its entire area. However, almost any collector of the heating system can be used for these functions, which makes them multifunctional devices. But when buying such equipment for warm water floor systems, you need to consider a lot of other factors:
- what the body is made of;
- what connection is used;
- maximum pressure in the system that the collector can withstand;
- maximum working temperature.
Radiator heating
All collectors for this kind of heating systems are distinguished by their attractive appearance and compactness. In addition, the easy connection of the heating collector facilitates not only the general installation of the system, but also the repair of damaged areas. When connecting radiators, it is preferable to use the lower eyeliner circuit.
This is the most common and easiest option. In the case of the use of the collector circuit, it is possible to easily link even heating devices of different working pressure . In addition, all pipes in this case are easily hidden in the decorative elements of the floor.
