Where can I find gold ore in Skyrim?
Like other resources, gold ore can be purchased from blacksmiths and merchants. In addition, ore veins are found in mines, caves and even in open areas. We recommend visiting the following locations:

- Mine Lost Chance - here the protagonist is waiting for three veins.
One vein of gold ore can be found in the Tomb of Ysgramor (it is located near the Wall of Words), in the Drowned Man’s Grotto, Mossy Cave, on an island located to the west of the Broken Oar grotto. In the arena of the location called Shelters, the Lost Knife, you can also find one vein.
Gold ore in "Skyrim" is located outside the gates of Whiterun - at the eastern wall. If Dovakin travels between the Pure Springs mine and the Quiet Moons camp, he should climb a hill - here he can find another vein. Players who decide to complete the Jeweler quest cannot do without gold ore. In order to start it, Dovakin should go to Riften.
