Sexual dimorphism in these animals is very pronounced: the female is easily distinguished from the male. Lions are beautiful, their manes, shimmering in the sun, look simply luxurious. But even lionesses, although they don’t have such a royal “hairstyle”, are not inferior to their brothers in grace and stateness.
Great mistake
Very beautiful are lions with an unusual color. For this species, a genetic disorder such as leukism is often. Please note: these animals are not albinos, we are not talking about the complete absence of pigment in this case. The eyes of such animals may have a golden or blue color, noses and paw pads, as a rule, are colored typically. The coat and mane of such lions can have a light beige, milky and even almost white color.

From the point of view of science, this is possible, because the closest relatives of lions - jaguars and leopards - often have almost black color.
