TechnoNikol Rocklight is hydrophobized heat and sound insulation boards. They are made from
mineral wool based on a basalt rock group. Their distinguishing features are light weight, incombustibility and high heat and sound insulation characteristics, due to which they are used as a universal material in private housebuilding.
Characteristics of TechnoNIKOL Rocklight
- High thermal insulation performance. The thermal conductivity of the insulation at 25 degrees Celsius is 0.04 W / (m · ° C). In other words, a 10 cm thick slab can exhibit the same heat-insulating properties as a two-meter brick wall.
- High sound absorption.
- Fire resistance. This material belongs to the category of "NG", which means "non-combustible." The temperature of application of heat-insulating boards is in the range of -60 ... + 200 degrees Celsius. In this case, the fibers begin to melt only at 1000 degrees Celsius.
- Low water absorption. According to this parameter, the insulation has an indicator not exceeding 2%. As for vapor permeability, it is at least 0.3 mg / (m · h · Pa).
- Biological resistance to the effects of rodents and microorganisms.
- Strength characteristics. The density of the material is 30-37 kg / m3. Its compressibility is up to 30%.
- Neutrality to metal and concrete materials. Insulation plates can be used for concrete walls and in connection with metal structures. This will not affect their properties and will not serve as a catalyst for any undesirable processes.
