The further you advance in development in any game, the greater difficulties confront you. The same goes for the Clash of Clans application. With the development of the fourth-level town hall (TX 4), the arrangement of buildings becomes your priority task, since only with a competent approach can you get the maximum income and safety.
The buildings
At the fourth level of the town hall, the player acquires additional buildings, which must also be placed on the playing space. The number of accessible walls and defenses is increasing. Short list of towers available:
- Archers.
- Mortar.
- A gun.
- Air defense.
Also, besides bombs, spring traps are now available to you, which can instantly kill any enemy by simply throwing him from the battlefield. At the same time, this type of traps and air defense is far from mandatory. In extreme cases, they can be used to block the extra approaches to the fortress.
In general, players adhere to two tactics in the design of the base. The settings for 4 TX in Clash of Clans are made on the basis of two tactics: the preservation of resources and the capture of cups (rating).
PVP
If you value your rating, then you can not do without the protection of the town hall. The best placement of TX 4 allows players to protect their possessions, but this often leads to the fact that the edges of the base can be very stretched, which, in turn, allows the enemy to rob mines and warehouses with impunity. Let's look at the following diagram.
This is a typical formation for TX 4. The arrangement allows you to protect the town hall. Despite the fact that it still has open corners, in these places the base has double walls, and the enemy will need time to break through them. Spring traps are set in the aisles, they will repel the fastest and most dangerous opponents.
Obviously, the weak point of the base is the northwest corner of the castle. But here the psychological factor comes into play - most players will not try to attack from a completely built-in corner, but will try to go to bare, "unprotected" walls.
In general, the scheme of TX 4 (placement) is quite simple and will repel most attacks at this level. However, remember that by gaining rating points, you become a tidbit for players of a higher level. Therefore, do not overdo it with the set of cups, and as soon as you improve all the buildings, immediately go to the sixth level of the town hall.
Farm
On the last diagram presented in the article, you can see a good base diagram for TX 4. The layout is very specific. If you have already read such topics, then you will not be surprised to see the town hall taken out of the fortress. If it is destroyed, the siege will end, and the player will not lose precious resources. On the other hand, the absence of the town hall outside the walls frees up free space. Thanks to this, you can protect more buildings or put more towers.
As you can see, the guns cover almost the entire base, so even if the wall is broken and the enemy gets to the warehouses, the gun in the far part of the base can shoot at them. The rest of the buildings act as a "bumper", forcing the enemy to land their troops further from the walls and giving towers the opportunity to inflict more damage.
