In 2016, the market for multiplayer games replenished with another next masterpiece, which immediately won the hearts of users. This is a first-person shooter Battlefield 1. It is about him that will be discussed in this article.
Description
Battlefield 1 was the fourteenth game in the universe of the Battlefield series. All of them are somehow related to the hostilities. Some parts were about the Second World War, some showed the future. This game rolled back many years ago. It has pretty solid system requirements on a PC. The release date of Battlefield 1 officially is October 21, 2016.
Its plot revolves around the events of the First World War. The entire game campaign is divided into several separate stories that are not interconnected. The gameplay of all these episodes is quite diverse. You’ll have to endure a lot and go to various messes - from sending letters to tank battles.
It is worth noting that the launch of the game was a bit overshadowed by the fact that the Russian Empire and France were not included in the release. The Russian-speaking players made a petition, however, the developers were quick to assure them that both countries would be added to the additions.
Gameplay
The game has a well-drawn and detailed world. Planes fly by periodically in the sky, rumble of cannons on the ground and the rumble from explosions are heard. That is, immersion in the gameplay is complete. For which, of course, I had to pay for the rather high system requirements on the PC for Battlefield 1.
Each battle is filled with its own specific small scenarios. For example, the floor on which the soldier was just standing suddenly collapses just before he fires. Or, suddenly, a falling plane flies overhead.
In order to be able to apply various tactics, several modes were implemented. For example, the goal of Excellence is to retain strategic points, while the other team must recapture them.
As for the shelters, everything is relative. In the game you can hide behind a brick wall and in a second discover that it is already destroyed. Almost all objects can be destroyed, so only a trench can become a truly reliable place, and even then not always.
But the main feature of the game is still multiplayer. The player can try on one of the roles on the battlefield - attack aircraft, medic, support and reconnaissance. Attack aircraft are at the forefront and carry machine guns and shotguns. Doctors have with them the means of rescue and treatment of injured comrades, and can also provide fire assistance from semi-automatic rifles. Support repairs equipment, supplies cartridges and is perfectly controlled with a light machine gun. A scout takes active steps to find out the enemy’s positions, but can also heal and fire from a sniper rifle.
Special classes
On the battlefield, you can take other roles. You can get them by picking up a special wooden box in battle. 4 different types are available:
- Hourly. Heavily armed and well-armored fighter.
- Flamethrower. A warrior whose main weapon is a flamethrower and appropriate protection from it.
- Tank hunter. A soldier specifically targeted to destroy equipment. Although it can perfectly cope with the enemy’s manpower.
- Trench Raider. A special type that works effectively in close combat.
Equipment
The game presents several examples of equipment that corresponds to that time. For example, the light tank FT-17, which in the game can be used in three different modes: support at close range, flank and howitzer. There are heavy weapons to support the infantry, such as an armored train or an airship.
Battlefield 1 system requirements
The game is very colorful, detailed and spectacular. Naturally, to calculate all the graphics you need good hardware. Consider the minimum PC requirements for Battlefield 1.
As a suitable operating system, Windows 7 64-bit is indicated. The necessary class of processors can be understood from two examples - Intel Core i5 6600K and AMD FX 6350. Yes, not bad. These are not the cheapest processors.
Video cards also have to spend a bit - GeForce GTX 660 2 GB or Radeon HD 7850 2 GB. RAM will require about 8 gigabytes.
These are just the minimum PC system requirements for Battlefield 1. Having read the recommended ones, you can be quite surprised, since this is almost a top system.
So, the developers advise using the Windows 10 64-bit operating system for a comfortable game. It is recommended to use mastodons such as Core i7 4790 or AMD FX 8350 as processors . Graphic adapters are just as good as the GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 480. It is better to install 16 GB of RAM.
As a result, to collect a decent configuration for your favorite game, you have to seriously spend money.
Weak PC configuration
If the minimum system requirements on the PC for Battlefield 1 are met, but there are still "subsidence" of the number of frames per second, then you should first check the graphics settings inside the game. It is possible that the automatic detection was mistaken and set the wrong values. Then you need to manually set the parameters, thereby slightly reducing them.
Switching from version 12 of DirectX to 11 sometimes helps optimize PC system requirements for Battlefield 1 and real hardware.
The game does not use the entire resource of the video card in its default settings. Therefore, it is worth looking into the advanced graphics settings of Battlefield 1 and unchecking this item.
A considerable percentage of performance problems are associated with drivers for the video card. If there are "friezes" or a drop in FPS, then you should check the freshness of your drivers for the graphics adapter. Owners of relatively new video cards will have to endure until manufacturers release the appropriate drivers.
Of course, do not forget about the general condition of the system. Viruses, many simultaneously running processes, as well as the antivirus itself can significantly "eat up" computer resources.
You can try to download ready-made patches on the Web, in which enthusiasts were able to compress some textures, remove resource-intensive effects and optimize the game process a little. Sometimes this approach helps, but it is worth remembering that you need to download such files on proven and reputable resources.
Well, if nothing helped, and it was not possible to bring the configuration of your computer to the minimum system requirements of Battlefield 1, then there is only one thing left - to save up for new hardware.
