To make a holiday gift or just to please a child will help a monkey from improvised materials. But try to attract the baby to work. This will help him to develop creatively and just cheer up!
Buttons
You can decorate the wall with a children's painting. A monkey from improvised materials with your own hands using buttons is done quite easily, you only need:
- Cardboard sheet.
- Scissors or clerical knife.
- Pencil.
- Frame.
- Canvas to insert into the frame (you can use thick cardboard, a cover from the box).
- Paints.
- Brown and beige buttons in different colors.
- Transparent superglue.
Working process:
- On the cardboard, draw a monkey template, immediately mark where the frame is located so that the drawing as a result does not go under it.
- Cut out the pattern.
- Transfer the drawing to the canvas, but do not forget to finish the details (eyes, nose, mouth, face and ears).
- Color the picture. This is necessary so that after gluing the buttons a white background does not appear.
- Insert the canvas into the frame.
- Start gluing the buttons from the largest, reducing the size with each layer.
- In order to make eyes, break one big button in half. Close the scrap areas with other buttons.
A monkey from materials at hand is ready!
Picture on the wall
A funny monkey that can be used as a mask or hung on a wall will work if you use:
- Paper plate.
- Scissors.
- Paints.
- Glue.
- A printer, but if you can draw, then a pencil.
What do we have to do:
- Print a template (color it) or draw the monkey's face itself.
- Color the plate in the desired color.
- Cut out the details.
- Glue to the plate.
The result is a craft that you can use as a picture on the wall. But such a monkey from improvised materials can become a mask!
Mask
What you need to do for the mask:
- Mark where the eyes will be located, you can also note the mouth.
- Cut holes.
- Sew the elastic at the sides of the mask so that it can be worn on the head. Or stick a stick to the back (for example, from ice cream) so that the mask can be easily brought to your face or removed.
Bird feeders
A monkey from improvised materials for the street that you will learn how to make is not only beautiful, but also useful. After all, it will be created as a bird feeder. Materials:
- Two plastic bottles of 2 liters.
- Sharp scissors.
- Tubules, wooden sticks or something similar (needed in order to make a "branch" on which birds can sit).
- Acrylic paints.
- Chenille (shaggy) wire.
What do we have to do:
- Cut two bottles in half and insert into each other so that in the event of rain, water could not leak. Inside you can insert a bowl of a suitable size to sprinkle food on it.
- Cut openings for arms and legs.
- Color the bottles.
- Insert the wire into the holes made, twist inside the bottle so that it keeps inside and does not fall out.
- In the center of the sides of the craft, make two large holes, such that it is convenient for the bird to eat.
- Insert the stick just below the feed holes.
Finish a great decoration for the street. The main thing is that everyone usually has all the materials at home, with the exception of wire, but you can replace it or create it yourself by gluing a regular iron wire with a cloth.
Soft toy
To create such a cute toy you will need the remains of brown and beige fabric. But you can use other colors to create a creative fairy tale animal. In addition to fabric, you will also need scissors, threads in color, two black buttons, down (foam rubber, cotton wool) and glue. Working process:
- For starters, itβs best to draw all the details on paper, thereby making patterns.
- Necessary details: body (you can draw a template, focusing on the shape of the body with a photo, or just draw a circle for the head and an oval for the body), two small semicircles for the ears, two ovals for the hands, a large oval for the tummy, a muzzle (you can make an oval a little smaller head or heart shape), tail, legs, triangular small nose, banana and two small circles for cheeks.
- Now apply the patterns to the desired fabric color and cut out. On the brown fabric - two parts of the trunk and tail, on the beige - the stomach, muzzle, four parts of the ear, arms and legs, on the yellow fabric - two parts of the banana, on the pink - two cheeks and on the black - the nose.
- Sew the ears with a buttonhole stitch, taking the thread in the color of the fabric.
- Sew your hands when you finish, fill the parts with foam, only then finish. Same thing with legs, tail and banana.
- Start stitching two parts of the body. After flashing a little, insert the ears between the parts, then the hands. At the very bottom is a place for the tail. Before finishing, fill the toy with foam, finish.
- Sew on your stomach and face.
- Glue cheeks, nose and eyes onto the face. Sew the mouth with black thread.
- Glue the banana to the arms and legs to the body.
The toy is ready! A monkey can also turn out from improvised materials for the New Year, pay attention to options for how to do this.
- From the remnants of fleece, felt or other soft fabric, cut a winter scarf, tie or sew on the neck.
- From cotton or cotton, make a beard, like that of Santa Claus. Make a hat on your head. To do this, cut out two triangles from red fabric, sew them together, and glue cotton at the edges.
Plasticine
Many children love plasticine, with it a monkey can be made from improvised materials. The photo above shows what should turn out, it's simple. But it will be more interesting if instead of using the trunk use a bump. This is not an ordinary approach that should interest children.
A monkey from materials at hand will allow you to take children and does not require large financial costs for materials from parents, leaving the whole family happy!
