The young writer Sergei Alekseevich Sakin, whose biography is presented in this article, is known to a wide audience as a participant in the television project “The Last Hero”. However, many people are well acquainted with the work of this person and love his works. In December last year, information leaked to the press that Sergei Sakin had disappeared without a trace. So what happened to the writer, is he alive or dead? This, perhaps, no one will know until they find him.
Biography
Sergey Sakin's date of birth is 08.19.1977. He was born in Moscow. From childhood he was known as a fighter, teachers called him a hyperactive child. In 1984, Seryozha, like all his peers, went to school. He studied without much hunting, but he was well given literature, history, a foreign language. Nevertheless, being the owner of a rebellious character, he always strove to enter into lengthy disputes with teachers, as a result of which he was expelled from school several times. Parents had to take him to other educational institutions every now and then. And now, the future Russian writer Sergei Sakin, according to the instructions of his grandmother, finds himself in the legendary school No. 1234, which was located in the area of New Arbat. How is it remarkable? There once studied children's poet-writer Boris Zakhoder, actress Lyudmila Kasatkina, daughter of Andrei Mironov, Masha, son of Alexander Maslyakov, singer of the group “Roots” singer Pasha Artemyev. In childhood, Seryozha was nicknamed Spiker. So he was nicknamed one of the American schoolchildren, who ended up in the 1234th exchange school. This nickname was attached to Sergey Sakin for many years, the same name was his hero of the book "More Ben."
Education
In high school, Sergei began to make progress in school, and the teachers were pleased with him. In 1994, he entered the Institute of African and Asian Countries at Moscow State University. He studied well, and he really liked the student life — parties, gatherings, nightlife. It was during this period that Sergei Sakin first tried drugs. Being young and reckless, he did not understand what mud he had plunged into, that it would turn into a tragedy.
Over the hill
Already in high school, Sergei got a dream - to go and settle in the capital of Great Britain. After graduation, he and his friend Tetersky with almost empty pockets went to London. At first, they settled with friends. However, staying away for a long time was uncomfortable, and the guys decided to find another place to live. At the same time, they, as technical workers, got a job in one of the London eateries, cleaned, washed dishes and carried out other small assignments. Naturally, the proceeds could not cover the cost of food and housing. Once, having found an abandoned barn in a large park, they were able to find a hole and began to spend the night here. In a word, Sergey Sakin, whose photo you see in this article, and his friend found themselves in completely inhuman conditions: they ate whatever they got, slept on the cold floor, covered with their own jackets.
Drugs
To somehow forget, to be able to sleep on the hard and cold floor of the barn, to overcome constant hunger, the guys began to drink a lot in the evenings, and then woke up in the morning with a hangover. My head hurt, my body ached, but already at noon it was already necessary to start work again. Soon they became addicted to drugs, and at first they felt better. These funds helped them to forget about problems for a while, to feel vigorous and full of energy. In a word, they spent all their earnings on the purchase of narcotic substances. The guys did not understand that because of this their whole future life would be broken, that drugs would become a tragedy.
The beginning of creative activity
Living in London, Sergei Sakin and his friend Tetersky began to keep a diary, where they wrote down stories about all of their London adventures. Here they poured out their souls, talked about difficulties and hardships, but in a humorous form. Later, based on these notes, friends wrote the book “More Ben”, the main character of which was a guy named Spiker. Two years later, after returning to Russia, they managed to publish this book. The reader immediately fell in love with her, so for a short time she was reprinted and had several editions. This brought its authors considerable income and recognition. Years later, based on the book of the Russian writer Sergei Sakin, whose biography is dedicated to this article, a magnificent film was made, which was called the same as the book itself, “More than Ben,” and the talented actor Andrei Chadov played the role of Spiker-Sakin.
"Last Hero"
In 2001, Sergei found out that casting was underway on ORT to participate in a television project, the reality show "The Last Hero". Arriving at the test, he met here the beautiful girl Anna. The young people got into a conversation, began to meet slowly. And then it turned out that both had passed the casting and should go to Panama. Later, Sergei admitted that all the hardships were nothing to him, neither separation from friends, nor sleep on the bare floor, nor lack of food. However, he suffered greatly from separation from Anna.
Love
Not seeing her was the biggest problem for him. The realization that she was nearby tormented him even more. But remember: upon arrival in Panama, all the participants in the show were divided into two groups, and the young people were not lucky, they were in different tribes, on different islands. Sergei once even tried to swim to get to Anna Island and almost died due to the strong current. After this incident, the writer was closely monitored by the guards. Unfortunately, he failed to win the show, there were other worthy candidates. However, according to the polls, it was he who was the player who won the audience sympathy.
Personal life of Sergey Sakin
The writer was married twice. The first wife was all the same Anna Modestova - a teacher of literature. After returning from Panama, the couple maintained friendly relations for some time, but Sergei suddenly made Anne an offer of marriage. Their wedding was very interesting and memorable. The couple decided not only to marry in the presence of a large crowd of guests, but also to get married in an ancient temple. Their friends on the project were invited to the wedding - Inna Gomez, Sergey Odintsov, S. Bodrov Jr. and others. After the wedding, with the help of friends and relatives, they were able to raise money for housing (“the whole world by the string”) and buy a small apartment, where they began to live together happily. A year later, Sergei’s son, Alyosha, was born. But every day the relationship in the family worsened, and all the fault was Sergey's addiction. Even the birth of a boy did not make him stop and stop using drugs. The gap between the spouses grew every day, and soon the family was on the verge of collapse. Later, Sergei admitted that he takes all the blame for the divorce on himself. He called himself an egoist and a liar, who disappeared for weeks, did not come home, and told his wife that he needed to work hard to support her and his son.
Second marriage
A year after breaking up with Anna, Sergey went to work as a television editor on TV. Here he met a girl named Maria. It was she who became the second wife of Sergei Sakin. At first, the couple simply met, and one day Sergey took his things and moved to Masha’s apartment. They began to live as spouses, but did not officially formalize the relationship. They did not go to the registry office even after their daughter Vasilisa was born. Soon the addiction prevailed over him, and he began to disappear days and nights, and when he came home, he was inadequate and scared the little daughter. I spent all the money I earned on the purchase of drugs. Mary was desperate, but could not do anything. She suffered quietly. Feeling this, Sergei once did not return home. He began to lead a homeless life: he slept anywhere, fed anything, if he was hungry, could rob a store, and then fled and hid somewhere from law enforcement.
Treatment
In 2013, at the insistence of friends, Sergei went to the Center for Healthy Youth in the city of Pyatigorsk, where he spent six months. Then he moved to the suburbs of Moscow suburbs, to the recreation center of the TsZM, and then to his Kazan branch. Despite his condition, he wrote a lot during this period. According to his script, it was decided to shoot the film "Leshina Prayer." Together with the film crew, he went to Abkhazia. It seemed that he was able to cope with the problem and get rid of drug addiction, but no. Not wanting to retreat, he went to the anti-drug camp in Sochi for treatment, and from there he went to Pereslavl to the monastery, where he tried not only to free himself from drug addiction, but also to join the faith. Here he was involved in the restoration work of the Nikitsky monastery.
Mysterious disappearance
In mid-December last year, the press reported that the writer Sergei Sakin was missing. The last time he was seen in the city of Myshkin, Yaroslavl region. From here he left for Moscow on November 24. The friends to whom he was supposed to come became agitated when he did not show up even a week later. They did not know what transport he was going to get to the capital: by train, minibus, bus or hitchhiking. Friends contacted the police with a statement about the fact of the loss. However, three days later they were informed that the case was closed, since the application did not come from relatives. After that, his relatives turned to law enforcement agencies, and the case was reopened. No search results yet. Volunteers are also looking for Sergey, among whom there are many fans of his work.
