When is the procedure performed?

Until this period, babies still have immunity received from their mother. Therefore, as you understand, vaccination is previously contraindicated for them. Puppies at the age of four to six months expect one not very pleasant process - a change of teeth. In each breed, it proceeds differently. Until all the teeth change, babies should not be given a procedure such as vaccination. Puppies need to be vaccinated (first time) in the period from two to four months. If before this period the procedure was not performed, then the sick puppy is very difficult to tolerate the disease, there are even deaths. Remember that only healthy animals can be vaccinated!
Essential tips before and after vaccinating babies
From 1.5 months you need to stop all contact with other animals in order to avoid infection. Two weeks before the proposed vaccination, deworming should be performed. With the veterinarian, select the appropriate drugs and their dosage.
It is important that at the time of vaccination the puppy was active, completely healthy, without worms, cheerful and, of course, had a good appetite. For three days before vaccination, it is necessary to measure the temperature. If it is normal during this period, then vaccination can be done, otherwise the animal needs to be treated, after which it again “drives off” the worms, and then is vaccinated.
It is advisable that this procedure be performed by a good specialist; you should not trust your pet to anyone unknown. It’s better to pay extra money, but be sure that your pet has been done well.
