James wrote works that became known to the fantasy world, including a series of novels called The Sigma Squad, and he also wrote a series of books, The Cursed and the Exiles, when the movie about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull came out, it was him in 2007 hired to write a book version.

Biography
It should be noted right away that James has two pseudonyms: the first is James Rollins for adventure thrillers, the second is James Clemens for fantasy.
He grew up in the Midwest, was born in the city of Chicago, 08/20/1961. Has 3 brothers and 3 sisters. As a child, he liked the works of Jules Verne and Wells, and he decided that he wanted to become a writer. He studied at the University of Missouri, became a doctor of veterinary medicine. Then he moved to California and opened his own business. It was a veterinary clinic, where he worked for a decade, at the same time he began to write a work called "Cave".
Currently, James continues to devote time to supporting the local SPCA (Organization for the Humane Treatment of Animals). He knows medicine and science well, this helps him come up with studies that occur in his books.
James is the author of the book "Crown of the Demon", which was introduced not so long ago - 05.12.2017.
He also founded Authors United, a group of writers who seek to help soldiers and their families find jobs and find housing in emergency situations.
When James Clemens wrote The Cave, he went around several publishers to find one that could publish. He had to get around almost 50 publishing houses. And only the latter decided to publish it. But he did not know whether they would publish it or not, he decided to write fantasy. Thus, James Clemens "Witch Fire" composed and passed in 1998. A year later, the Cave was also published. He combined veterinary medicine and writing, but realized that he could not cope. The author often says that he had more time when he was a veterinarian. Sometimes it happens that he writes not one work, but two a year. He alternates thrillers and fantasy, from time to time it seems to him that this is natural schizophrenia. James now lives in Sacramento, he has 2 dogs and a parrot at home. He also has two official sites, one per alias.
