The small Polish studio CD Projekt Red decided not to stop at the Witcher trilogy, but to continue experimenting in the Action RPG genre and announced a new project Cyberpunk 2077. On May 30, 2012, CD Projekt RED announced that their new project was under development. It was also noted that the game has nothing to do with the witcher universe. Although it was clear by name. The Poles confirmed that their novelty is based on the board game Cyberpunk 2020.
