Since chrysanthemums multiflora are very fond of moisture, the soil for flowers should be chosen accordingly. It must be loose and pass water well. In the flower garden, choose the warmest part, well lit by the sun and protected from the wind. The best option is a bed that was previously occupied by legumes. The earth is pre-excavated and fertilized. For one square meter of the site, potassium salt (20 to 30 g) and superphosphate (40 to 50 g) are required.

The plant is perennial. To keep it until the next season, the bushes are dug up and transplanted into a container. In winter, the flower becomes home. It requires a dry and cool room, watering rarely (from two to three times a month).

In order for the multiflora chrysanthemum to develop correctly, the cultivation of its cuttings should be carried out subject to a temperature regime of 18 to 20 degrees. When the buds begin to form, fertilize the plant. For this, fertilizers with potassium and nitrogen are used.

Despite the fact that low temperatures tolerate multiflora chrysanthemums, wintering in the garden for some varieties should be preceded by a reliable shelter. Need a special preparation of the plant. When flowering ends, the stems are pruned, leaving above the ground a height of fifteen to twenty-five centimeters. At the same time, it is better not to touch the young shoots that depart from the root. Then the bushes should be covered with mulch from straw or pine leaves, the layer should be three centimeters. After this operation, each plant must be bored using peat or humus. When the temperature drops to zero, chrysanthemums are covered with multiflora with spruce branches (spruce branches), raspberries and other prickly bushes are also suitable. These measures will help create a large layer of snow that will cover the plants and protect them from freezing.
