TEN for a water heater is a tubular electrical device that performs the function of converting current into thermal energy. But the main advantage of the tubular electric heater is the safety of its use, which we have already noted a little higher. This feature lies in the fact that the TEN (for the "Termex" water heater as well) is absolutely not explosive, which makes it possible to use it in most household appliances.

The main disadvantage of this tool is its high metal consumption and increased price, which is explained by the use of metals such as nichrome and stainless steel. It is also worth noting that the TEN (for the Ariston water heater as well) is practically not repaired when the spiral burns out. In addition, these tools have a not very high service life, which is about 5 thousand hours. At the same time, the surface of this heater should be regularly (every 2-3 months) descaled. By the way, heating elements that interact with gaseous substances last 2 times longer - up to 10 thousand hours. However, this does not mean that with premature failure of the spiral, they can be repaired and restored. In fact, TEN for a water heater is a one-time, therefore this particular drawback does not allow making it the most practical and reliable heater. However, in the field of security and versatility, he still has no analogues.
Marking
At the moment, there are several markings of these tools, but specifically TEN for a water heater is indicated by the letter "P", which indicates the possibility of its interaction with liquid substances. Devices that are used for heating gaseous media have a different marking, and depending on the specific type of gas this may be one of ten designations.
