Priest's Deck in Hearthstone. Advice

Card games have always been popular, and this one, released by Blizzard - Hearthstone, was no exception. Today we will tell you what the Priest’s deck should look like at different stages of the character’s existence. From basic to top. Of course, a lot of things in such games depend on the skill of the player and the starting hand in the match, but correctly selected cards at the preparatory stage can become a problem for your opponent.

Strategy

Let's start with the general tactics that the Priest deck requires of us. Hearthstone allows you to use a variety of combinations and techniques when managing the deck, but when compiling it, it is important to remember that the cards must also interact with each other.

The priest is a very convenient character for beginners. Even if you are not able to win the match, your personal strength will allow you to tighten it for a long enough time to get acquainted with the deck, understand the tactics of the opponent, the basics of the game and the interaction of various cards.

In addition, the Priest’s base deck has a large number of mechanisms for receiving cards during the match, so you will always have an advantage over your opponent when choosing move options.

The foundation

So, if you have just started your journey in the world of Hearthstone, then the first thing you need to do is to complete a full training for the Priest. More precisely, in training mode, upgrade to level 10. Thus, the full pack of the Priest will be assembled from his starting class cards. Unfortunately, in the starter pack there are not enough good expensive creatures for 5 mana crystals, but for the class in question this does not matter. Using a series of power-ups and summoning a healer naga, you can completely take control of the board. So, what cards should the Priest deck contain?

  • "God's punishment".
  • "Word of Power: Shield."
  • "Voodoo Healer."
  • "Cleric of the Northern Earth."
  • "Divine spirit."
  • "Word of Darkness: Pain."
  • "Acid slug."
  • "River crocolisk."
  • "Word of Darkness: Death."
  • "Grizzly Steelsteel."
  • "Priest Sindorei."
  • "Gnome inventor."
  • "Frosty Yeti."
  • "Ring of Light."
  • "Gurubashi Berserker."
  • The Naga Healer.
  • Ogre of the Heavy Fist.
  • "Hero of Stormwind."
  • "Control of the mind."

What can be said about the selected cards? Of course, these are the most basic and popular items that most of your rivals will have. They must be replaced with more rare and effective ones. But not all are subject to replacement.

Methodology

In the early stages, “Shield” and “Spirit” can help you create a very successful combination, if applied to the Cleric of the Northern Earth, they will allow you to occupy the board and regularly receive an additional card when healed.

"Voodoo Healer" is rather a bargaining chip. If you have a Cleric on the board and have an extra mana crystal left, you can heal a creature and get an additional card. Experienced players also do not recommend using it to treat the main character.

The Ring of Light is a super-efficient mass spell. If there is a Cleric on the table and several creatures with incomplete health, you will not only cure them, but also get several cards at once.

"Naga-healer" in combination with the above combination will allow you to draw cards in your hand to failure.

The Gurubashi Berserker, although it has a low initial attack, can become your main attacking creature. If you use a combination of “Spirit” and “Shield” on it, and after that diligently heal, only the most powerful spells of the opponent can control it, controlling the mind, turning and others.

"Control of the mind" is your trump card, and you need to spend it wisely. For example, if you take control of a monster 6/7, then you simultaneously remove it from the field, save one card for the call, and you can also exchange it profitably.

Extra cards

Of course, even in the base deck there may be cards that are not useful to you.

"Internal Vision" allows you to copy one random from the deck of the enemy. Since this is not theft, you will not deprive the opponent of the card, but only exchange yours for a possibly very useless card. It is much more profitable to use the "Shield" and take a card from your deck. It will be more useful if only because you initially selected it before the battle.

Mind Blast is a controversial map. First of all, playing the selected deck, your task is to seize control of the board. Here 5 units of damage to the hero will not help you. On the other hand, when there are few cards left, 5 health points are a good chance to quickly finish off an opponent without risking losing. Depending on your desire, you can try replacing this card with one “Word of Darkness: Pain”.

Replacement

Of course, you will not always play the starting deck. With each match you will receive more and more new cards. So you get a budget pack of the Priest.

"Delicious zombies" - two pieces instead of "Voodoo Healer" and "Divine punishment." Since our task is to control the board, in just 1 mana we get a fairly strong creature, and its "death throat" does not play a role, because we are not going to beat the enemy hero yet.

The "dark sectarian" is able to replace your grizzly bear completely. If used together with Gurubashi Berserk, a killer combination could result.

The “slime belcher” is successfully able to replace the “Berserker”, because a little earlier we got rid of our two Grizzly tanks.

Temple fighter instead of ogres. His battle cry fits perfectly into the deck.

Top

There are many different opinions on what the Priest’s top deck should look like. You may encounter characters based on "dragons" or, for example, "burials." Decks with Brann Bronzebeard are gaining great popularity. Therefore, for you, we will highlight only the main cards that contains almost any top priest deck.

  • "Cleric of the Northlands."
  • "Wounded Grunt".
  • "Word of Power: Shield."
  • "Ring of Light."
  • Brann Bronzebeard.
  • "Ysera."
  • "Light bomb."

The use of Brann implies that the player has an overwhelming number of creatures with the ability to "battle cry." The rest of the tactics are quite simple. Using bonuses, heal yourself to such an extent that the “guardian of the light” can get an attack up to 25-35. And due to the "Spirit" and "Shield" health will be about 20-25.

That's all. We have provided you with several basic cards for the Priest of various rarities, which are sure to come in handy in the most difficult matches. Otherwise, a lot depends on your ability to choose the right cards during the turn. And the whole party may depend on the starting hands - you and your opponent. In general, the Hearthstone Priest deck will require considerable skill and skill from the player.
