Crocheted round motifs are the basis of many interesting handmade products. It can be safely stated that the use of such elements helps to create the most beautiful dresses, tops, skirts, bedspreads, tablecloths and other items.

For a beginner who is only mastering knitting wisdom, the appearance of a round pattern can cause surprise or even horror. A motif is a cloth that is crocheted (sometimes knitting) and serves as an integral part of a larger product. Motives can be of different shapes:
- Round.
- Square.
- Triangular.

They are also distinguished in appearance: flat or voluminous (multilayer). Crocheted round motifs are used more often than others to decorate clothes or interior crafts. Such fragments are turned into napkins, dream catchers, tablecloths and floor mats.

The principle of knitting a round motive
As the name implies, such fragments are knitted not in straight lines, but in circular rows. The beginning is always a ring of air loops (VP) or a lingering loop, to whom it is more convenient.
Each new row should begin with the lift. If the first in a row is a single crochet (STB), then there is one loop on the rise. For a single crochet column (STN) - three VP, for St2N - four and so on.
An important point: at the end of each row, a connecting column is required. This means that the last column must be connected to the first so that the row looks even. To do this, the hook is introduced under the loop of the first column, grab the thread and drag through the first and last columns. The connecting posts do not knit, in fact it is a broach.

Consider the theory on the example of knitting a fairly simple floral fragment.
1st row: StBN is knitted in the initial ring, * then a chain of 5 VPs is made and StBN * is made again. This element from * to * needs to be repeated seven more times.
