The first acquaintance with this character takes place in the supplement "Ice Throne" of the third part of the series. As one of the leaders of the dwarves, he goes to Nordmkoll to eliminate the threat of the approaching Scourge. On the mainland, covered with ice and snow, he meets his future friend and ward - Arthas. He was infected with the idea of โ€‹โ€‹taking revenge on Mal'Ganis for what he had done to his people.

Muradin Bronzebeard "WWII"

Muradin once learned about a great weapon - Frostmourne, which gives infinite power to anyone who becomes its owner. Soon Arthas and Muradin Bronzebeard were surrounded by the Scourge, and they decided to go in search of a rune sword in order to defeat the accumulated army. The guardians guarded the sword, which the heroes were able to defeat. At that moment Muradin managed to read the inscription on the ancient sword:

Anyone who takes this blade will gain unlimited power. Just as a blade torments flesh, so power cripples the soul.

The prince, distraught with revenge, did not listen to the leader of the dwarves, who tried to dissuade him from taking a sword. Arthas brought fidelity to these weapons, and the lump that Frostmorn had imprisoned shattered into fragments, one of which wounded the dwarf in the chest. Unfortunately, Arthas could not heal Muradin, because the prince had left the world.

Once in Northrend, Muradin's younger brother, Brann, fell. After extracting an artifact in the Creators Machine, Brann flies on a crashed plane to the Frostborn Fortress, where his brother, who lost his memory, ruled. The researcher at the last moment decides to thank the King of the Frostborn, seeing him, he immediately recognized his brother. Muradin managed to remember all the moments of his past life thanks to Brann Bronzoborod who came.
