To make this piece of furniture with your own hands, prepare the following materials and tools:
- empty plastic bottles of the same size and configuration - 32 pieces;
- thick cardboard;
- sheet foam rubber or synthetic winterizer;
- Scotch;
- large scissors;
- fabric (cotton, velor, velveteen, drape);
- needle with thread;
- centimeter;
- sewing machine.

- Connect four bottles in a row. Attach three more to this design. You will get a square blank, consisting of 16 plastic containers.
- For other bottles of the same type, cut off the top with a cap and put them on those that are already fastened together. Again, carefully wrap the entire structure with tape.
- Place the structure on cardboard and circle its borders. Cut two identical parts along the intended contour. These cardboard blanks will become the bottom and cover of the ottoman.
- Glue these two parts to the plastic blank with tape.
- Using a centimeter, take measurements from the resulting structure, transfer them to foam rubber or any other soft material (synthetic winterizer, insulation). Cut out two squares and a rectangle equal to the circumference of the walls of the ottoman.
- Sew the plastic blank with this material over the seam. You will get a practically finished soft ottoman.
- To the measurements that were taken for foam, add a couple of centimeters from all sides, transfer them to the fabric and cut out the details of the cover. Sew a rectangle and one square manually or on a typewriter. Turn out the cover and put it on the ottoman. Sew the bottom part directly on the plastic product.
