Since the flowers are in the middle of the figs, for pollination, blastophages are needed - small insects. Without them, the fig tree is not able to bear fruit. But nevertheless today self-fertile varieties are bred, which do without insects that live only in warm places.

Fig propagates by seedlings or live bait, with proper care, begins to bear fruit in the third year. There are several ways in which the baits of a tree such as figs are prepared. You can also just put the pagon in a jar of water and wait until the root appears. Then live bait sits in a flower pot. To root the figs, the pagons can be planted in a pot and placed in a greenhouse, at a temperature of 25 ยฐ C it will take root in a month.

To maintain the fig in good condition, it is necessary from time to time to feed it with mineral mixtures, ammonium sulfate or ammonium nitrate. The only exception is the period when the tree drops its leaves. Figs are transplanted once a year or as they grow out of the pot.
