Limitations
First, consider the limitations of using both methods.
Firstly, turning into mobs using codes can be done either in a single player game or on a server where arbitrary use of the console is fully allowed. The third option - you must be the administrator of this server.
The modded method also has limitations. For example, you can turn into a mob in Minecraft using add-ons only on offline servers or in a single player game. Because each server requires a specific version of the game, which all players must use.
Instructions for the method with blocks
To turn your hero into any of the game monsters, you need to register a number of blocks, which we will consider further.
Create 4 blocks with the following parameters. The first should be set / block ~ ~ -1 ~ redstone_block. Type this command in the console and press Enter. Then enter the line / tp @e [type = mob name] @p [name = your nickname]. After that, add two more commands: / effect @p 14 1000000 and / setblock ~ ~ 1 air.
Instead of "mob name", enter the name of the monster in English. In a standard game without modifications there are not so many of them. In Minecraft, you can turn into a mob CaveSpider, Chiken, Cow, Creeper, EnderDragon, Ghast, Pig, Sheep, Slime, Squid, Wolf, Zombie.
Easiest method
In single player, you can use even simpler instructions. For this method, you will need the list of monsters and animals presented above. After that, go into the game and open the console. Enter the command / disguise or / d, and after the space, write the name of the monster or animal in English. Then press Enter to apply the code. You will see the world in the same way as when playing for an ordinary character, and all other players (if you are on a server where free console use is allowed) will see you in the form of a mob.
Modifications
We will look at two examples with which you can turn into a mob in Minecraft. The first modification is called Morph. With it, players can take the form of any monster in the game. At the same time, you change the appearance, but retain all the features of the hero: breathing under water, flying, and so on.
This mod has one condition - you can turn into those animals that you killed. It works as follows. You need to install the add-on and enter the game. After that, you need to find the NPC and destroy it in any way. Now by pressing the keys] / [you can change the appearance of the character. Using the Delete, Backspace, Enter key, you can delete or apply the transformation on yourself.
The second option is to install the Transformation Mechanism mod. On this map you will find a special device with which you can turn into mobs in Minecraft. In fact, the mod works with one trick: you stand near the desired cell with the name of the monster, click on the lever. After that, the hero becomes invisible, and in its place appears the NPC, which is stuck in the character model. As a result, you move in invisibility, but from the outside look like a zombie, cow, chicken or any other resident of Minecraft!
