A regional city with more than a million people, once founded as a fortress, and today the largest commercial and industrial center of the Urals is Chelyabinsk. It grows both in breadth and height. The number of parks for rest of citizens is also increasing.
Central Park of Culture and Rest Yu. A. Gagarina
This park of Chelyabinsk (see photo below) is a favorite place of Chelyabinsk citizens and guests of the city. It is located in the center and delights visitors with beautiful ponds , thick crowns of trees, paved with tiled paths, charming flower beds, cleanliness and grooming . Attractions, and there are many of them in the park, work all year round. Among the popular ones are trampoline, roller coaster and, of course, Ferris wheel. For older visitors, karaoke is organized, several summer cafes (for every taste and budget ), an open -air theater and cinema. As well as a paintball field, a fishing outpost, an indoor tennis court and a karting track , which becomes a skating rink in the cold. Opens in winter and a ski base with an illuminated ski run.
In 2007, a symbol of love and fidelity, a pair of white swans, was installed on the central square in the Fountain of Happiness. In the same year, the park was given the status of a specially protected area. Partly because there is a unique pine forest in which tame squirrels live.
Every year, the city administration holds citywide celebrations, tournaments, regional festivals, concerts, etc. in the park. Disco parties are organized at the local dance floor.
In the children's part of the Gulliver Park, the heroes of favorite fairy tales and cartoons meet the kids. For the young guests of the Gagarin Children's Park in Chelyabinsk, all kinds of carousels and even a railway are open.
For the convenience of visitors, there are several entrance zones in the PKiO .
City Garden Pushkin
One of the most comfortable places in the city. Pyramidal poplars, silver spruces and cedars, rare in this region, grow here. Already in the 30s of the last century, this park was a favorite vacation spot for citizens.
Today, many parks in Chelyabinsk hold many events, but this is where mass festivities take place - from City Day to the New Year.
Children's Park V.V. Tereshkova
All parks of Chelyabinsk are loved by the townspeople. But there are special places in which it is cozy and good for children. In the park to them. V.V. Tereshkova is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. On the alleys leading to the central square with a fountain and a small cafe, convenient benches are installed. For children, a sandbox with toys is organized, for older children there are trampolines, swings and other attractions.

"Forest extreme"
All parks in Chelyabinsk have their own zest. Forest Extreme, for example, is an amazing place for lovers of active entertainment. There is everything for sports climbing, even artificial rock. Trails of all kinds of complexity were prepared in the park, and the routes were thought out taking into account the varying degrees of physical readiness of the guests.

"Scarlet Field"
Like all parks in Chelyabinsk, this one is also shady and cozy. But this is the first park of the city. In historical manuscripts it is said that already at the end of the 19th century, fun fairs with bright and funny attractions were held at this place. After many transformations and renaming, this place again became the “Scarlet Field” (though the townspeople called it “Polyana”). In addition to beautiful shady trees and architectural compositions, this park is known for its concert hall of organ and chamber music. The body established in it is considered one of the best in Europe.
Park "Metallurg" named after O. I. Tishchenko
Chelyabinsk parks (addresses are indicated below) are all buried in greenery. But this particular resting place is a real forest park zone for leisurely walks. There are many secluded paths and cozy reading benches.
Playgrounds with rides, a contact zoo and even an aquarium are organized for children. Kids enjoy riding a good-natured pony.
