The latter is made of polyester molecules and has a higher melting point than the shell. Therefore, when it is placed in an oven, the shell melts and adheres to ordinary fiber, and the core remains intact. Thus, many air chambers are created inside, and the structure of the fabric itself becomes three-dimensional. Therefore, Thermofin insulation is strong and almost weightless at the same time.
It is practically non-toxic, therefore it is especially recommended for sewing children's clothes, as well as a bedding filler for people with allergies.
Production stages
- A computerized system mixes bicomponent and conventional highly curved fibers in the correct proportions (15% and 85%).
- The mixture is sent to the container, where it is combed both vertically and horizontally. Thus, the material at the outlet is uniform, without lumps and seals.
- Further, everything is placed in a melting furnace, where, under the influence of high temperatures, ordinary and bicomponent fibers stick together, forming very strong compounds. The holding time is very important here, because any deviation in one direction or another will spoil the material, making it either too stiff or too loose.
- Sharp knives cut uneven edges in width.
- Finished material is twisted into rolls.

- Softness and elasticity. Since during the manufacturing process there is no need for standard processing on a calender (usually heaters are driven through hot shafts to make the material thinner and denser), the output is not a whipped and stiff, but airy and soft fabric.
