The military are Russian citizens, but they are endowed with different obligations and serious responsibility during the service. At the same time, it is possible to arrange a soldier's vacation for personal reasons. For this, certain conditions must be met, and good reasons for such a rest, proved by official papers, are required. The military, like the employees of other organizations and structures, has a special schedule on the basis of which they serve. • Vacation of a serviceman for personal reasons. Such a rest period is made out only when really serious personal problems arise. It is unpaid, and its duration depends on the reason for registration.
• Extra leave for women serving in garrisons or various units.

Each vacation is limited in duration and payment. The procedure for vacationing military personnel is identical to the rules for providing leisure to citizens working in different companies.

The nuances of getting personal leave for military personnel

Such rest is provided exclusively at the expense of the military himself, therefore the military unit does not provide him with payment. Although leave for personal reasons is granted to a soldier without payment, this period still has certain limitations on the duration. • one of the relatives dies;

• initially, a serious event should have occurred in the military’s family, on the basis of which he urgently needs to go to his family, for example, he learns about the death or illness of a close relative;
• a special report is submitted in which the soldier indicates the reason for making the leave, its duration and date of dispatch;
• the document formulates a request for leave on the basis of certain serious personal circumstances;
• documentation must be attached to the report confirming the onset of these serious events, for example, a death certificate of a relative, a letter from home or a medical certificate indicating the identification of a serious illness in a military person’s own person;
• links to regulatory documents are left, on the basis of which the soldier really has the right to extraordinary rest;
• correctly composed document is transmitted to the unit commander;
• if the authorities agree with the need to receive leave, an appropriate order is issued;
• the document indicates how many days are provided for the military, and the period is further extended by two days if the person’s family is far enough from the duty station.

Only after performing these actions can the military go to the family to resolve personal issues. By the appointed day, he must return to the unit to continue the service, regardless of other circumstances.

Contract Rules

Often, citizens prefer to serve as contract soldiers. They can take leave for personal reasons in the same way as other members of the armed forces. To do this, it is necessary to draw up a competent report, after which an order is issued by the immediate commander.

It is impossible to break the leave due to personal circumstances of the military. 10 days should be used in full, after which the military should return to the unit.

Is such a vacation paid?

If a holiday is issued due to various unforeseen personal circumstances, then such days are not paid.

The military should only pay for travel to the house and back at his own expense. This period is not included in the length of service.

Reporting Rules

To issue a vacation, the military must certainly compile a special report. It spells out a petition to arrange rest for a certain amount of time in connection with the occurrence of unforeseen personal circumstances. When compiling this document, some rules are taken into account:

• text can be written by hand or using a computer;
• in the upper right corner, the rank and full name of the commander of the unit, which will decide on the possibility of such a vacation;
• it is not required to write down information about the applicant immediately under the addressee data, as it will be available in the main text;
• in the middle of the sheet is the name of the document submitted by the report;
• the following is the immediate essence of the appeal, and first it is indicated who exactly addresses the unit commander for the issue of leave, for which F. I. O. and the rank of military man are registered;
• indicates the period during which the military plans to go to relatives in connection with the circumstances;
• describes in detail the reason why the vacation is issued;
• lists the documents attached to the report and acting as confirmation of the occurrence of any unforeseen events in the family of the military man;
• the number from which it is desirable to send a soldier to the family is indicated;
• the residence address of the applicant’s relatives is given, which makes it possible to establish how long the military will need to reach his family;
• if a person has served for more than 20 years, then this moment is recorded in the report, if it is planned to receive leave for a period of 30 days;
• it is prescribed where and with whom the vacation will be spent, and for this it is necessary to indicate the immediate relatives who have had an accident;
• if a military man holding a leadership position claims such leave, he additionally prescribes to whom his duties will be transferred for the period of absence;
• at the end of the document is the date of its formation, which must coincide with the date when the report is transmitted to the unit commander;
• the applicant’s full name is additionally indicated and his signature is put.

• leave for 30 days can be issued by the military, who have served for at least 20 years.

Such a period of rest is provided only in the presence of official written evidence of the occurrence of certain events in the family. This includes letters or telegrams. They confirm that the military needs the family, as serious problems arose.

• the soldier has no evidence that he really needs to go to the family;
• the grounds are not very good, so the management decides to refuse to provide rest;
• it is established that relatively recently the military has already been taking leave for 30 days, so he already does not have such an opportunity, since this vacation is provided only once.
