Note that you need to start a dialogue with the old man at night. Speaking to him during the day, he will simply throw a couple of meaningless phrases in response, and the battle will never begin.
In addition, it is important to defeat Skeleton before dawn, otherwise it will begin to move at great speed and inflict 1000 damage. For this reason, it’s best to activate a boss fight somewhere at the beginning of the night. Thus, you will reduce the risk of not being in time to a minimum.
