There are many ways to arrange wiring. It is not necessary to carry out labor-intensive measures, such as, for example, breaking walls. The modern plastic product industry offers affordable and convenient wiring boxes.
Perforated box
Boxes made of plastic with a perforated surface, as a rule, are used as organizers for cables. This is convenient when wiring in control boxes, suspended ceilings , in all places hidden from attention, when there is a need to tidy up the wiring routes or signal wires that are similar in type or appearance. This task is easily feasible due to the fact that the box perforated DKS along its entire length has special flat holes for branching wires. These holes are at a certain distance from each other, called the pitch. The pitch is 1 cm, 1.2 cm and 2 cm.
The shape in which the perforated box is made has a rectangular configuration and, by analogy with conventional plastic boxes, contains a lid on the latches. However, there are no additional connection elements, such as corners and jumpers. There is only an element for attaching the cable inside the box. There is also a version of the box with a circular cross section without a lid. This is a series of flexible plastic perforated trays.
Although the color scheme of products is quite poor and limited only to gray and blue tones, the price of this type of box is higher than the usual solid. This is due to the more complex manufacturing process, as well as the fact that the perforated box has several advantages:
- made of plastic, the viscosity of which allows it to be bent and subjected to mechanical stress at the installation stage without the risk of form deformation;
- the convenient rounded shape of the teeth on the side surface makes it easy to insert wires between them;
- extra teeth are easily broken out thanks to a special sidewall treatment with a laser;
- PVC plastic material includes components that contribute to the attenuation of a fire box.
When the height of the box is equal to or greater than 8 cm, the teeth are supplemented with special stops that allow the wires to be output in two sections. Often the perforated box is performed with a base, the width of which is much smaller than the height of the side wall. This must be taken into account when calculating the trunk.
Box installation
Since the box is perforated gray - this is an element that performs the supporting function of the power system and in fact fastens the cable, that is, there are some requirements for its installation:
- the installation is permissible only on threaded fasteners;
- the height of the channel laying relative to the floor is at least 2 meters;
- at the point of intersection of the tray and the pipeline, the distance between them should not be less than 5.0 cm, with parallel passage - 10.0 cm;
- distance to the gas pipeline, heating mains at least 25.0 cm.

The laying of all current-carrying elements and their channels should be carried out by professionals with appropriate access to work. It must be remembered that plastic boxes under the cable can be laid for live elements whose voltage does not exceed 1000 V.
