The beginning here is quite calm - the main character (let's call him Ben) flies on an airplane and watches the announcement of an unknown horror movie. Next to him, his little son named Timmy nodded. There is no one in the cabin except our hero, his child and another passenger. Suddenly, the plane crashes - it literally breaks into pieces. Ben is losing consciousness.
When the main character wakes up, he sees how a native is taking his wounded son somewhere. Now we need to get out of the island to which the airliner crashed, find a son, and even all the passengers along with the staff. But it’s not so simple. The place where we fell is literally teeming with cannibal natives. We'll have to build housing, defend ourselves and look for survivors. True, "The Forest" with the passage is becoming more confusing.

You will not succeed in finding a son in the game. And the point is not that this was intended. All due to the fact that no one has managed to reach the very end. During the game, such details are revealed that completely confuse the player. For example, it turns out that Ben is a professional tennis player, and his plane was filled with his sportsmates.
