It is recommended to use such a fishing line only for electric tools, as for other types the equipment consumption will be too large. The disadvantage of this tool is its low strength, which is why it is used to cut thin grass.
- Two-component fishing line. The difference of this equipment is the core, which is made of another material. Due to this structure, the fishing line is characterized by increased strength and durability. The cross section of the cutting element itself is round. It is used only for the operation of high power gas trimmers - at least 1.5 hp. This line is used to cut thick and dry grass, as well as to trim small shrubs. The disadvantage is the high cost, which is not suitable for daily use.
- Fishing line for trimmers of complex shape. It can be star-shaped, rectangular, have many notches and sharp edges, etc. Such a cutting element is used for powerful equipment operating in difficult conditions. It requires the use of a special head, so you need to know
how to wind the line onto the trimmer. This type of cutting element is distinguished by its high degree of strength and wear resistance, copes with any kind of
grass, shrubs, weeds. It has a high cost.
In stores, the fishing line for the trimmer is sold either in bobbins, or simply wound. Also, it can be immediately cut into pieces of a certain length corresponding to a specific model of the tool.
