Any house begins with a parade group, so it is so important to pay close attention to its design. Moreover, the choice of finishing materials plays an important role. What requirements should the porch tile, which is most often used for its facing, meet?

Firstly, this material must be distinguished by its durability and safety. Secondly, steps must be performed in such a way as to ensure stability even to the most severe loads. Thirdly, the tile must be immune to the effects of aggressive chemical environments, fungus, various pests. What are the features of clinker?
In general, clinker is preferred, since porcelain stoneware has a high price, and it can be used far from all climatic conditions. Clinker tiles for porch or steps - this is ideal, because:

- differs in a high coefficient of resistance to sliding;
- the surface of the material does not wear out for a long time;
- easy to clean, while the surface does not deteriorate.

Laying tiles on the porch: features
The most difficult to finish are such elements of the house as a porch, terrace and steps. Since over time the base deforms under the influence of wetting and freezing, laying must be carried out in strict accordance with the following rules:
- steps should be monolithic, and they should be laid on a sealed base; concrete grade - not lower than M 200;
- you need to take care of the maximum protection of the structure from the effects of groundwater, and this will require surface waterproofing;
- the seams between the material must be carefully wiped;
- porch tiles must be installed using special high-strength adhesive.
Tile coating is necessary not only to achieve a decorative effect, but to protect the structure from destruction. Material can only be laid on a well-prepared, level surface. If the
strength of concrete is insufficient (this can be checked with the help of special devices), then it should be strengthened with a mesh or primer. Facing can be started after the primer is well fixed. It is advisable to use a whole porch tile (the photo shows how beautiful such a surface is). If the mosaic consists of split tiles, the appearance of the porch will be unpresentable, moreover, they are likely to quickly disappear.
