Sergei Yesin was born in Moscow on December 18, 1935. When he was still a child, the future writer had to learn all the horrors of war. And although he was in the rear from the nineteen hundred and forty-first year to the Great Victory, he saw a lot and survived a lot. In addition, it was during this period of the child’s life that his father was repressed. All these adversities will greatly affect the work of the Russian prose writer. Sergey Yesin is a writer whose biography is not the most cheerful. But he was not broken. Sergey graduates from high school and goes to the philological faculty of Moscow State University, and then successfully studies at the correspondence department.
It is hard to imagine how versatile he is. After all, not many can boast of having been a librarian, a photographer, a forester, and an actor. And this is not the whole list! But still, Sergey Yesin is a writer. His biography is rich and interesting.
He gets a job as a correspondent in the famous publication Moskovsky Komsomolets. Then Sergey Nikolayevich becomes the editor - in -chief of a sound magazine called The Horizon. And then he creates his first masterpiece, which many have enjoyed. The title of the first story is “We Live Only Twice.” True, it was first published in a completely different Soviet magazine and under a pseudonym. Writer's Family
Esin Sergey Nikolaevich, whose biography, as mentioned earlier, cannot be called simple, lost his father in childhood. Sergei Nikolaevich's parent held the post of military prosecutor and, unfortunately, in the forty-third year, right at the height of the war, when the boy was living very hard, he was repressed for anti-Soviet propaganda. Esin's mother was from a peasant family, but at the same time had the education of a lawyer. She found out what happened to her husband and for which he was convicted, and after he returned from prison, she expressed a desire to divorce him. The writer’s maternal grandfather was also repressed in Soviet times.
Esin Sergey Nikolaevich, whose family suffered in wartime, did not lose heart, although all this had an impact on the work of a prose writer, as well as the fact that he was born in an intelligent family. This is probably why he later writes about the representatives of this particular social layer.
By the way, in childhood, the writer was a completely ordinary yard child, who studied mediocre in school, and sometimes even skipped classes. But just then, in childhood, Yesin already decided on the profession, decided that he wants to be a writer.
Despite the fact that Sergei Yesin is a writer, very little is known about his personal life. He was married to film critic Ivanova Valentina Sergeevna. About her, his wife and close friend, who recently left this world, Yesin Sergey Nikolaevich wrote a book. In the first part, he writes memories of Valentina Sergeevna's youth, the second part is a story by Ivanova herself, which she did not manage to publish during her lifetime, and in the third part you can get acquainted with excerpts from the diary of the writer, which speak of his wife. The book also contains a bibliography of film critic Ivanova and the memories of her colleagues, associates and friends.
