But how to install an interior door, if you will do it for the first time. Like it or not, you can’t do it all alone - only together. People who make repairs think: how to install the door yourself, while making everything beautiful and neat? The first thing to do is to purchase interior doors. Installation is described below.
Before installing the interior door, you need to prepare the appropriate opening. This process is as follows. First you need to check the wall vertically and measure the dimensions of the doorway in height and width. If in future plans you have reconstruction of floors, then an increase in its level must be taken into account in the dimensions of the doorway so that the gap under the door is correctly determined.
At the next stage, measurement is taken from the upper and lower edges of the opening with an increase of 2 cm. This must be done so that the loops are further at the same distance from the edges. Then, a groove is prepared under the loop using a chisel, a hole for the screws is drilled, and the quality of the selection of grooves for the loops is checked.
Now you need to assemble the box. At the upper racks, the ends are cut off at ∟45º. And on another rack, designed for hinges, mark the space for the lower and upper door hinges. The grooves in the door frame must be cut exactly the same as on the door itself.
When installing the hinges, you need to pay attention to the distance 1 and 2. If a seal is attached to the door frame, then distance 1 should be equal to distance 2. And in the absence of a seal, distance 1 should be 1.5 mm longer than distance 2 to avoid touch door leaf and narthex.
Distance 1 is from the narthex to the edge of the hinge on the box, and distance 2 is from the edge of the door to the edge of the hinge.
At ∟45º, the ends of the beams are cut so that when assembling between the door width and the uprights, the vertical distance is more than 5 mm, and between the floor and the
door leaf exactly 10 mm. All parts of the box are assembled using screws.
The finished block must be fixed in the opening with wood screws. The door frame will be enough to fix in 3 places. Everything is almost ready, it remains to figure out how to install the interior door in the opening.
When the box is installed and secured, it's time to install the door itself. If you correctly fix the hinge stand (vertically), then the door will remain stationary in different positions. Then the lock rack is fixed. On the door leaf, you need to display identical gaps between the crossbar and the uprights vertically. The gap that appears between the box and the wall is filled with foam.
