About creativity
Marina started writing as a child. At first, for Marina Efiminyuk, all her work consisted of writing poetry, but now, as the writer herself says, she cannot force herself to write even a few lines. Getting older, Marina found herself in writing prose works. Speaking about her interests, Marina Efiminyuk claims that it was reading the books that greatly influenced the choice of the genre in which all her works were written. Despite the fact that the writer reads a lot of world classics, she especially liked the literary works in the genre of fantasy. It was the writing of books about fantastic worlds, mythical creatures and monsters that began to bring emotional peace to Marina Efiminyuk.
The writer speaks with special trepidation about her first book, which was called How It All Began , which had to be rewritten. Having invested her whole soul in this work, as in all books, Marina Efiminyuk received harsh criticism after the first attempt to publish it. Having fallen into deep depression, the writer was able to return to the book and its alteration only a year later.

In the center of the plot is a young girl who suddenly disappears from her parents' house the night her father dies. The long absence of the girl led relatives to the idea that, perhaps, the main character died. However, soon the girl returns to her father’s house, and not alone, but with a young groom. The girls write about the return in local newspapers, the neighbors only talk about it. But no one knows the true reason for the girl’s return - having an unusual ability, she can see the past of people. For a long time thinking about the death of her father, the main character tries to figure out what really happened to the head of the family. Learning more and more secrets that have been kept in her family for many years, the girl understands how frightening and terrible her relatives are. The girl is so deeply immersed in her research that she learns the most terrible secrets that completely turn her view of the world.
