1. To begin, cut 8 long threads. We bend them, throw them over the ring and braid them using the “trap” technique.
2. So now we have 16 threads. They need to be divided into 4 parts and weave 4 tracks of double knots.
3. Now take another ring and begin to braid it horizontally. At the end of the "trap" we take two strands from neighboring tracks and weave "berries". Their technique will also consist of a track of double knots, only at the end of each short track we will wrap the track up, thread through the loops, turning it inside out. To make the next row of “berries”, we again change the alternation of threads: take two of each neighboring row and weave a path again. Thus, you can perform 3-4 rows of "berries". In principle, these details can be dispensed with altogether, but they add elegance to the macrame technique. The flower pot is original.
4. Now we will weave 4 simple tracks, approximately centimeters 10. Then we fix at the end, changing the combination of threads. Next we will weave 4 “twisted” tracks. We perform them in the technique of "Chinese knot." The length of the tracks will depend on the volume of the pot and the height at which you will hang the product. About 25-30 centimeters.
5. Next, we begin to manufacture a “basket” for the pot. To get a quality craft using the macrame technique, it is better to correlate flower pots with the size of the pot. To do this, take away from the paths 8 bundles of threads (two from each track), holding them at the base, and lay on the pot. The diameter should match, or be slightly larger. Now in this place, make four knots, connecting every 4 threads, two from adjacent tracks. We continue to weave the basket, in a checkerboard pattern, disconnecting two threads from each node, forming a new node. Thus, it is possible to make 3-4 rows of knots using the macramé technique. The flower pot should hold the pot.
6. We complete the manufacture of crafts. Firmly fix all 16 threads with a Chinese knot. At the end, we form a chess track, alternately weaving knots from each of the neighboring cells.
7. The remaining fringe can be fluffed up, or beads strung on it, fixing each of them with an ordinary knot. You have learned to make flowerpots using the macrame technique. Now you can put a pot of flowers in it and hang it on a hook near the window or on the wall.
