Fencing for parking spaces in the form of a hemisphere, in comparison with ordinary columns or decorative elements made of concrete, are more resistant to vandalism. Installation
The concrete hemisphere can be installed on various surfaces: on asphalt, paving slabs, lawn, dirt road. The main condition is that the surface should be flat. The weight of the structure ensures its reliable fixation.
In some cases, to prevent displacement, the hemisphere is equipped with a metal pin. Usually this is a piece of reinforcement that is mounted in the base at the stage of pouring concrete into the mold. To install this design, you need to make a hole in the road surface.
A hammer drill and suitable tooling are used. If the pin is walled up in a concrete pad, then the hemisphere turns into a stationary stop. It can only be removed from the road by destruction.
To create temporary parking spaces or restrict movement, hemispheres are evenly distributed at the required interval at the site of the roadway and aligned along the line.

The concrete hemisphere is made of high quality concrete. Responsible manufacturers use clean alluvial sand and high grade cement. To increase technological characteristics, additives of fiber, plasticizers and other components are possible. If you renew a colorful coating every few years, the hemisphere can serve for a long time without losing its properties and technological characteristics.
Forms for hemispheres concrete
Parking limiters can be purchased from the manufacturer or manufactured independently in the required quantity. The technology of concrete products is not at all complicated and accessible to almost anyone interested. It is enough to have a concrete mixer, to acquire material and a high-quality form for the hemisphere.
It is usually made of high-strength plastic with a thickness of 2-3 mm. The spherical design makes extraction of castings easy. The form can serve for a long time. At the request of the customer, manufacturers can make fences of different sizes.
The greatest demand is for molds with a diameter of 50 cm and a height of 25 cm. The weight of such a need will be up to 80 kg. From sand and concrete, mixed in the required proportions and mixed with water, a concrete solution is prepared. It is poured into a mold and aged in it for at least a day. After this, the concrete products are carefully removed and left for aging and drying.
Hemisphere molds with dimensions (diameter × height) are also used: 40 × 20 cm, 42 × 24 cm, 50 × 30 cm, and massive barrage structures 70 × 35 cm.
