“Gas holder. Club and teahouse. ” So say the golden letters on the official website page. But everyone knows that tea at the Gas Holder is not the most sought after product.
Gazgolder. Club & tea room
In 2005, the Gazholder club was opened on the site of the old Arma factory, which immediately won the love of advanced Muscovites. The most fashionable DJs played their techno sets here, contemporary Russian and foreign artists performed. This institution owes its popularity to Vasya Vakulenko and Oleg Gruz.
In 2007, Andrei Zuckerberg opened his teahouse at the Gazholder club. Since 2009, the Chinese restaurant has begun work.
In 2015, the Gazgolder club moved to another place. In the new pavilion of the same plant, the institution resumed its work. From the previous location, paintings, furniture, a bar and a whole tea room were transported. The advantage of the new place was its spacious halls with arches, high ceilings and a summer terrace.
On the very first day of work, reviews about the Gazgolder club blew up forums and social networks. Guests noted excellent sound, excellent cuisine and authentic decor.
Having decided to have dinner at a restaurant, you can be at a rehearsal or filming a video. In the same building, the creative association "Gas Holder" conducts its activities.
Gazgolder Creative Union
Gazgolder has its own record label, production center, art bureau and clothing store. The real stars of Russian rap collaborate with him: Basta, N1NT3ND0, Guf, Slovetsky, Smoky Mo, Tati, Triagrutrika, Oleg Gruz and others. The founders of the association in 2005 were Ruslan Tarkinsky and Bogdan Titomir. In 2007, Vasya Vakulenko, who remains to this day, became a co-owner of the label.
"Gas Holder" in the cinema
In 2014, the film "Gas Holder" was released, in which everyone associated with the label took part. In the story, Vasya and his friends are in big trouble. For the time being, they live for their own pleasure, not thinking about the consequences, until they come into serious conflict with a serious law enforcement agency. The heroes realize that they have gone to their ears and are throwing all their physical and creative powers to find a way out. All this is accompanied by poetic sketches and compositions of Russian rappers. The main roles in the film were played by: Basta, Oleg Gruz, Ekaterina Bestuzheva, Guf, Aiza Anokhina, Tati, Vitya and Maxim from Ak 47, Smokey Mo, Triagrutrika, Slovetsky, Elena Z and others. The movie came out ambiguous: there is an obvious philosophical subtext in it, mainly expressed in the monologues of Basta and Oleg Gruz.
Today, the "Gas Holder" has not lost ground. In 2017, T-Fest and Sasha Chest joined him.
