Construction at Minecraft is one of the main activities. When designing and building a building, not a single person can do without windows. And what windows without glasses? Today we will try to figure out what is needed to create glass panels, as well as how to paint glass in Minecraft.
Material
Let's try to find the necessary elements for the riddle of colored windows. Naturally, it is impossible to create multi-colored glass in Minecraft without certain initial reserves. However, oddly enough, you will not need anything special. First of all, sand and dyes. It should be remembered that you can create stained glass, starting with version 1.7.2. Since only one glass block is obtained from one sand block, you yourself understand that we will have to dig long and hard. But it's worth it.
Glass
So, after playing on the beach and digging up a little more sand, we go to our stove. Before you paint glass in Minecraft, you have to melt it. From a single block of sand and in the stove we craft one glass. In order to color it later, you will need a minimum of 8 (eight). On the one hand, this is convenient since only one dye will be spent on several glass blocks, on the other hand, if you need only one colored glass, you will have to spend a little more effort. But this does not matter, suddenly the stock will come in handy.
Dye
How to paint glass without paint in Minecraft? In the game there are about fifteen dyes. All of them are made from one or another natural material. For the most part, this is vegetation that is processed on a workbench or in a stove. For staining glass, any of them is suitable, depending on your desire. Below is a list of all possible paints that need to be done before painting glass in Minecraft, and how to get them:
- Red (rose color). Obtained by crafting a red tulip, poppy or rose bush. To do this, simply drag the ingredient onto the workbench.
- Pink. This color can be created in several ways. Firstly, on a workbench made of pink tulip or peony. Secondly, mixing red dye with bone meal.
- Yellow. It is created by the well-known method from dandelions or sunflowers.
- Orange. We all went through the mixing of colors in the elementary school classes in the art of fine arts . Combine the red and orange dyes. Or use the orange tulip.
- Blue (ultramarine). A true rebel among dyes. After all, it turns out not from grass, but from lazurite ore.
- Light blue. You can lighten the blue dye with the same bone meal or process the orchid on a workbench.
- Purple. Use onions or mix red with blue.
- Lilac. Again, remember the lessons of drawing. Mix purple and pink. Well, or if you are lucky to find, then craft from lilac.
- Green (cactus green). Caution: burn the cactus.
- The black. Kill the octopus and get its ink bag.
- White. Grind the bones on the workbench to get bone meal.
- Gray. Everything is simple. Black + White.
- Light gray. Continue to lighten gray. We process a white tulip or a nyvyanik.
- Brown (cocoa beans). You can find them in the treasures or by chopping up the foliage of a jungle tree.
- Turquoise dye is obtained by mixing ultramarine and greens.
- Lime. As you know, just lighten green.

Drawing lessons
Having obtained the necessary materials, we can finally begin to consider how to paint glass in Minecraft. We take eight glass panels that we created and place a square on the workbench. It is enough to put only one dye in the central cell. That's all. You now have eight blocks of stained glass. You can install them in the right place, like any other unit. Be careful, do not get dirty, and good luck in mastering the cubic world!
