Screen Settings: Performance

An untrained person can get confused in all this. How to configure CrossFire? Which settings to change, and which to leave the same? Which slider will affect what? In the first block, you are given the opportunity to adjust the volume of the music or simply turn it off. The second block offers to enable or disable the sounds of the game themselves, that is, shots, walking and so on, they can also be made louder or quieter. The last block is the sounds of the radio, that is, messages that will be given to you during the game. You can turn them off completely, you can turn on and adjust the volume level to your liking. Moreover, you can choose the language in which these messages will be sent to you, if you still decide to leave them turned on.
Will sound affect performance?
Among CrossFire players, the legend goes that if you turn off all the sounds in the game, then productivity will increase. Part of the truth in this, of course, is - productivity will increase, but very slightly, FPS grows by no more than 5. But at the same time you lose half the pleasure of the game, so you should not put such experiments. If you want to improve performance, lower the graphics settings, but do not touch the sound.
Communication Tab
