Recently, the Patriot military-patriotic park was opened on the 57th kilometer of the Minsk highway . It is intended for culture and recreation and occupies a vast territory of 5.5 hectares. The demonstration sites featured equipment and weapons of both the ground, air, and naval forces. It has become possible to visit the Patriot Park since the summer of 2015, although work is still underway to equip additional facilities. For example, an Orthodox church will be erected.
What can be seen
Currently, the Patriot culture park provides an opportunity to pre-book an excursion to the Museum of Armored Vehicles. Its exposition represents cars from 14 countries of the world. The collection of armored vehicles is considered one of the largest. In total, 320 tanks were collected on its area, there are unique exhibits that can be seen only in this museum - there are about 50 of them here. On the territory of the complex, various events are held, during which you can take pictures on military vehicles, see their properties in action, visit inside the tanks. You can also have fun participating in a variety of competitions that involve the presence of male power. It is interesting to visit there on Victory Day. The atmosphere is festive, music plays, souvenirs are sold, and field kitchens are working . At the training ground you can shoot both from the provided weapons and from your own. In addition to machine guns, machine guns, pistols, you can use bows or crossbows, as well as throw knives.
Interesting exhibitions
Patriot Park is a place where you can get a lot of information about the Great Patriotic War. Here you can not only hear about it, but also see the equipment and weapons of those years. Even the βvillageβ was opened, recreating the life picture of the partisan detachment of that time. The historic interior and exhibits from the time of war allow you to touch the past. This is facilitated by modern technologies that were used to create this village. Everything that is on its territory is reliable, since it was created according to the descriptions of actually operating partisans. People who had to be in such conditions needed to organize their life. Therefore, their settlement included a kitchen, a bathhouse, a bakery, a first-aid post, a stable and even a club. They lived in dugouts. Since all this happened in wartime, there were warehouses with weapons and ammunition, workshops for the manufacture of explosives. All these objects are represented by the Patriot Park in the Partisan Village complex.

What events are held
In January 2016, a historical performance was held here. The audience saw how the partisans ambushed the enemies, how exactly they fought with the invaders behind the front line. Not only in the Patriotic War, our soldiers distinguished themselves, so the historical reconstructions taking place in the park affect other battles. For example, in November 2015, combat episodes of 1915 were recreated on the territory of Patriot. For this, trenches and dugouts were equipped, and field telephone communications were conducted. Since experts in their field are engaged in military-historical reconstructions, the costumes and armament correspond exactly to the past era.
Various thematic exhibitions are held in the park. One of them, at which an exposition consisting of documents, letters and maps was presented, was dedicated to the Soviet-Finnish War. Visitors to other exhibitions saw exhibits related to the Soviet-Japanese War and military operations of 1941-1945. Events are also held to coincide with dates of importance for our country. They hold presentations of military equipment, tours to exhibition halls. The opportunity is given to visit the inside of the machine, get acquainted with the device of the equipment, demonstrate its dynamic properties.
Additional features
In addition, those who visited the Patriot Park can take excellent photos. You can capture yourself on military equipment or participating in entertainment, such as tug of war, bench presses of tanks or dragging tank batteries. Those who do not have enough strength to participate in such entertainment can have a meal at food outlets, paying special attention to soldier's porridge. Both adults and children will enjoy the park, and kids under 6 years old can attend it for free.
It will be even more interesting
This park is an excellent venue for military-historical reconstruction of battles, festivals, meetings of leaders of different levels. Although it is open to visitors, construction of additional facilities is still underway: expocenters, a hotel complex, a television center, a children's park, and a business center. Even an aquarium is planned.
So, having visited the Patriot park once, you can come back here again and again. After all, it will not be possible to inspect what is already here, and what else will be built in one day. According to S. Shoigu, the Patriot Park (Kubinka) is an excellent example of how to appreciate and preserve the memory of the deeds of our ancestors and those who perform feats today.
