They have special facilities where plant and animal food is grown. So, in Minecraft there are similar objects called farms. If you want to have always at hand food supplies, so that your possessions are vast and impressive, then you need to figure out how to make a farm in Minecraft.
What is a farm?
Naturally, you should not think that the farm in the game will fully correspond to how it looks in reality. If you are a farmer in real life, then this is unlikely to help you figure out how to make a farm in Minecraft, because these two processes, although they are essentially similar, are very different in implementation. In fact, the Minecraft farm most often is just a patch of land fenced with a fence, on which edible plants are grown or animals are bred. No additional facilities, special buildings. At first glance, everything is simple. But you still have to spend a little time to fully understand how to make a farm in Minecraft. It’s worth saying right away that there are three types of farms in the game, and each of the types should be considered separately.
Vegetable farm
If you want to learn how to make a farm in Minecraft, then you should start with the simplest option - a farm where plants are grown. You don’t need anything special for this - just seeds, a hoe and materials to make a fence. Start by looking for seeds - they can be found in the grass, but not every block. Therefore, you will have to try, and the more seeds you find, the better, because the size of your farm will depend on this. So, when you already have enough seeds, you should start creating the farm itself. To do this, dig several ditches ten blocks long at a distance of one block from each other so that they run parallel. Pour water into these ditches, and treat the ground around them with a hoe. If you do not plan to expand your field, then surround the result with a fence, since your crop may well be trampled by animals or mobs running by. Pour seeds into the cultivated land and wait. After a while, the crops will sprout, and you will get your first wheat crop. Having collected it, you can immediately plant the next one. Other crops can be grown in the same way. That's what plant farms are doing at Minecraft. An animal farm looks a little different.
Corral for various animals
The principle of action, in fact, is quite similar. You need to protect a certain piece of land with a fence, and there you will lure animals. How? Of course, with the help of wheat that you harvested in your
wheat field. All actions with animals revolve around wheat, so it will be quite simple for you to understand this aspect of the game and even better to know the world of Minecraft. The farm for animals will be filled last if you lure them with grain. Therefore, go in search of places where there are various animals, and set traps there, so as not to be on duty for hours at the same place. Just keep in mind that traps should not be deadly, otherwise your efforts will be wasted. When your corral has at least two animals of the same species, you can proceed to reproduction. To do this, they need to be fed the same wheat - it's that simple. When new animals begin to appear and the stock grows, you can start using them as a source of meat, and not only that - you can get wool from sheep, and milk from cows.
Farm for mining experience
Minecraft also has a third type of farm, which is designed for mobs. Here you can’t do without additional facilities, because you will need a spawn mobs. Only in this way will the mobs get into your corral, and not disperse around the world. This is done so that you can kill them from a safe distance in order to get not only experience, but also loot, which you can immediately collect.
Automatic Mob Farm
Mob farms are also divided into three types: manual, semi-automatic and automatic. It all depends on how you will kill the mobs that hit you. At Minecraft, an automatic farm is an area covered with lava, cacti, deep water, and so on. Mobs that get there will automatically die. This is the safest method, but it deprives you of experience, and also makes you constantly monitor the farm, since loot that has fallen from mobs quickly disappears. Accordingly, on a manual farm you kill all the mobs yourself, and on a semi-automatic one you count so that they receive maximum damage, but do not die so that you can finish them off with one blow.
